Lovely Cathedral

The building itself is lovely and is located in a great part of the city with plenty around. Really enjoyed the historical aspect of this attraction.

If you have an interest in eighteenth century architecture you will certainly want to visit because this is the only neo-classical Georgian cathedral in the country. You will also want to compare it with the nearly Roman Catholic cathedral because, unusually, both share the same architect. The interior is wonderfully judged with great light and use of space in which... More

This is a beautiful building. The site has been used as a place of worship since 11th century, and has a fantastic history.Vestments found hidden in the walls of a previous church are now on display in the Waterford Museum nearby. Many interesting memorials on the walls. Well worth a visit. Recommend.

This is a particularly beautiful cathedral in a great part of the city. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, it is opposite the Bishops House so easy to get to and worth it.

Well worth a visit-interesting memorials+ state of the art- restored organ. One may buy Irish things in the little area to help support it.

This church is obviously now used as a community resource and there were lots of displays on community activities, health and wellbeing advice, etc. The architecture is clean and bright, and refreshingly plain compared to the Catholic cathedral which (uniquely for Ireland) was designed by the same person. Not a place to linger but well worth a short visit.

This was an interesting church and easily accessible from Bishop's Palace and Medieval Museum. We visited many churches while on a 12 day British Isle cruise.
