This was a reminder of the religious struggles form the time of Henry VIII. The architect was renowned and had the unusual task of building Christ Church and the Catholic Cathedral.

Beautiful architecture. Wasn't quite as impressed the the inside. Still the inside is well worth the visit. Surprising that there was no admission fee. Very unusual in Ireland. We were only able to spend 20-25 minutes inside.

As one of the few free entry attractions in Waterford its worth checking out. the building itself is amazing and the ceiling is spectacular. definitely worth checking out if you have 20 min to spare while in Waterford.

Respectful during Saturday evening pre-service times, not to be disrespectful as a visitor, but stunned sunday at mid-afternoon to find the church not only locked, but the barred gates closed and locked and cold. Guess non-members uninvited.
