Excellent! Tour of the craftsmanship and artistry going into these pieces is extraordinary! Having been an art major decades ago with a drawing/painting focus, I also took pottery, printmaking (plate and wood) and in much latter years, played with glass etching. This place was just a marvel and speaking with several craftsman a real treat. Alex on the showroom floor is a sweetheart.

The factory tour was informative/educational. We all enjoyed it! Had not thought of it but we went on a Sunday and there were fewer workers there and not all areas manned. Not their fault. On the other hand, we had 6 on our tour so the attention was very personal. All the craftsmen there were friendly and willing to chat with and answer your questions.

Stopped in Waterford just to get some lunch while driving though and saw the waterford building. Decided to have a look around and saw there was a tour about to start. Wouldn’t normally be something I would be keen on doing but we had some time to waste so decided to do it. We all Loved it, so cool to see how it’s made and you get so up close. Definitely recommend it even if it’s not something you would normally think was your cup of tea.

The tour was very good. The gift shop was by. Prices marked on shelves were increased as much as 50% at the register. Seemed shady and dishonest. Expected more from Waterford.

We arrived at Waterford Crystal and the wait for the next available tour was about 2 hours. We didn't make the tour and that's one of my biggest regrets from our 2 week Ireland Vacation. I recommend you book your tour time in advance. We did walk through the showroom and it alone was amazing. The beautiful pieces they had on display and for sale. We bought several pieces and they offered us $30 flat rate shipping to the US with a breakage replacement guarantee, so we didn't have to worry about carrying it with us. Along with the beautiful countryside and amazing rich culture and history, this was one of my favorite stops.
