A must do!

Short but lovely walk, over easy ground to a waterfall. Really enjoyed this even in the cold and rain. Must have walking shoes and rain jackets.

It's about a twenty minute hike to the falls, and it's not intense. The scenery is beautiful on the walk. There's a free car park at the entrance, and a sign with a map of the area. I liked to climb up on the rocks under the waterfall, but be careful. It's also a great place for picnics, dog walks,... More

Loved every part of the trip to Mahon Falls, from the visually stunning drive to get there and then to the picturesque Falls themselves! Takes your breath away, absolutely wonderful place.

Beautiful spot to go to! Best idea for a Sunday drive would say go on a sunny day to see the true beauty of the waterfall and the surrounding area! Not a bad drive up and handy parking would do back again if am in the area ! Just wonderful .

After a foggy drive up, we also enjoyed the mist in the air as we hiked to the falls. Sadly, we only heard them it was that misty, but the noise inself was impressive

There is a well-trodden path that leads to the foot of the waterfall. You can then climb as high as you like if you are able! I climbed quite high with my boyfriend and had a great time. It wasn't too steep - there were families doing it with children and getting about half way up. Beautiful views of countryside... More

Wonderful place for a walk. Car park is about 1km from the falls and the more adventurous, can climb to the top of the falls. It is a steep climb but not overly challenging. Beautiful place surrounded by heather and sheep. No charge to enter. Nice place for family day out and picnics.

Travel - Mahon Falls - Ireland, next to Waterford. I visited this spot accidently Nearby is a lake - must be nice too, I did not see. Lodge - I was driving from Travelodge Limerick - about 2 hrs, 75 mls/ 120 km, to Waterford. Travelodge Waterford is the best to visit it as it is about 22mls/ 35 km... More

Lovely scenery! The drive up was slightly scary with the roads being so narrow and windy but everybody is feeling the same so are so considerate. I would recommend a wind breaker and pants because it is Ireland but overall if it's not raining it's perfect.
