My daughter and I spend a morning in June with Auriel on the Spanish Armada history tour. What made this so much fun was it was on a beach, on horse back and Auriel our guide was fantastic. We found the tour very informative and were able to mix in some galloping along the beautiful beaches of Sligo. If you... More

My friend and I booked the Heritage on Horseback island experience and wow - what a unique and fabulous adventure! The scenery was breathtaking and Auriel's lecture on the Armada was really interesting. She added color to my basic knowledge of the event. Highly recommend for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Went on the Carrowkeel walk to see the cairns and countryside. Learned so much about the area. History, geology, you name it. Auriel is a wealth of knowledge and eager to share. A pleasant lady who is truly passionate about this area and what it has to offer. Would highly suggest if in the Sligo area to book a tour... More

We booked couple of tours (Strandhill & Streedagh) as part of our Tourism & Cultural Heritage course. Very interesting, informative, super friendly atmosphere and great memories. Thank you, Auriel, very much for great experience and great time :)

Just spent two days in Sligo and completed two of Oriels very interesting trails. She is a mind of information on both the history and ecology of that wonderful area. I learnt a lot about the formation of our wonderful landscape and some very interesting local history. I would highly recommend seatrails to anyone visiting Sligo and can't wait to... More

I was one of a group of six women in Sligo for two days. We had a fantastic time. On our first day we met Auriel in Strandhill and she brought us on a fabulous walk over rocks, shore and dunes ending up in a pub for a delicious seafood chowder. The following day we joined her at Streedagh Strand... More

The wealth and depth of Auriel's knowledge of the area is superb: its fauna, flora , geological make up, history: it is all there. You don't just see the place, you get to know it- highly recommended.

I recently visited Ireland and went all around the country. The hike I did in Sligo was definitely one of the best highlights of my trip! I went at 10 in the morning and the guide, Auriel, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I learned a lot of interesting facts about the history of the area and Ireland as a whole.... More

We met Auriel on the (raging storm) windswept promenade of Strandhill and we went for an awesome walk along the beach looking for some wonderful middens on the beach on the other side of the impressive dunes (which we decided to skip because of the weather and season). Auriel is a very knowledgeable and witty guide and she's a pleasure... More
