Park at Lukes Bridge and start the 3.5hr roundtrip walk up Benbulen. Ground can be very soggy and wet as it is peat, so correct walking shoes/ boots are essential. Views from the top are fantasic

A kin to the tabletop mountain of Cape Town in South Africa it dominates the the landscape on your entrance and offers beautiful views of Yeats county. The entrance to the climb is not the most obvious so look it up before going.

Yes you will be able to see Ben Bulben from the main road as you drive northwest out of Sligo on the Donegal Road. On a good day it is beautiful. The scenery around Sligo is just breath taking.
