Good music and craft beers
Jun 2015 • Couples
A great wee spot with a friendly vibe and buzz. Great selection of craft beers on tap and bottled. Very busy on a Sat night, but that's to be expected. Get in early if you are looking for a seat, cos there's very few of them.

A memorable night out in Sligo town
Apr 2015 • Friends
What a pub! A cosy spot nestled on Bridge Street, gets very busy at weekends but its all part of the atmosphere. The barman are brilliant, so friendly and accommodating, and you're not standing 4 deep from the bar to order a drink like other places. On Friday's they host a regular vinyl night from Turn It On, a pretty unique night out for Sligo and its consistently good - they mix it up with a range of different people playing their vinyl collections on the decks every week, it could be shoegaze one night, house another!

The drink prices are unbeatable, you'll have change from a tenner if you order two spirits (and a dash in each). There's a tiny wee smoking area down the back near the toilets, which is likely part of its charm, so you're not left loitering outside the front door on the street - you still feel part of the place, by not leaving the building.

The interior is standard for an Irish pub but there's a eclectic collections of curios behind the bar - reflecting the owners tastes, and by extension the cooler clientele it attracts - stickers from the famous Ace Bar in London for example. Its a really great night out if you're in Sligo, and you'll meet some interesting people here - of all ages.

No Sheela na gig but great craic
Oct 2014 • Couples
We had heard that we might find a Sheela na gig at this great little bar in Sligo. Unfortunately, there were no Sheela na gigs but great craic. Our barman (Godfrey) was just fantastic. He tried to source out a SNG for us - nothing was too much trouble. After enjoying a few pints in a warm and inviting atmosphere, we decided to return the next day for a repeat.

Worst pub in the world!
Nov 2013 • Friends
Don't go to this place, it's cold unfriendly atmosphere is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in the world, especially this is out of character in ireland where the hospitality of the Irish is world known to be the best.

Rude, unfriendly people that drink and work in there made us feel uncomfortable with their prejudice against visitors, disgusting inability to take the feelings of anyone into account, don't go in here unless you like abuse!

Known to be a musical pub I would expect like most music venues to be encouraging of musicians and their efforts to entertain but no respect here at all, I saw a band asked to leave without even a drink offered, and they were fine, shame on the owner!

Avoid it on the grounds that if they can't welcome us they don't deserve your money!

Good Pub.. Pity about the music
Jan 2013 • Couples
Was advised to go to Fureys for the music on Friday night.
Regretfully the music didn't start until 10.45... Too Late.....
The staff were really friendly and helpful and create a good atmosphere.
Musician was on the premises chatting and having a few pints ... By the time he started playing some people were leaving...
Disappointing !!!
