Poor service from the bar. Greeted by a lovely security man. Got a round of drinks in. Was told last orders so ordered drinks. Waited for more than 35 mins and still no drinks. We walked out. Disgraceful.

Great location and selection of music, thats about all, awful rude staff didnt catch the barmans name with the beard and glasses who told us we were in the way and when we moved glasses were told to "cop on to yourselves" which was then repeated by a barmaid with dark curly black hair and glasses, far to many good bars in sligo with good staff to return or recommend this place, obviously the staff need further training in hospitality without customers you wont have a business or jobs

Great bar with decent beer

Recently visited Kennedys while on a business trip to Sligo. There were 9 in our group and we all agreed the ambiance and drinks selection was top class. Quaint decor and excellent bar staff. Located on the quay side in a lovely area. Well worth a visit.

Lovely Bartender

The bartender at Kennedy's was very kind and funny. After getting us a pint he asked if we had been to Ireland before, and when I told him that I had but my boyfriend had not, he began giving us all kinds of suggestions for places to travel during our visit. It was a nice welcoming to begin our trip. Thank you!

Nice Bar

We enjoyed a very nice evening in Kennedy's. We didn't eat so I cant commrnt on the food, or even if they do food. We were here for a few pints after a long day driving and sightseeing and we found it to be a perfectly good spot
The Guinness was pretty good, it was clean and atmospheric, the service was excellent and the size of the glasses of wine were more than generous. Very nice, attentive staff. Surprised at the poorish reviews here, we liked the place and would be happy to go back.

Overpriced & overrated
Jan 2019 • Friends
€8.50 for a glass of prosecco. Crazy!!! Add to that if any of your party want a Martini they have to leave the bar and go to the bar next door to get it 🤦 Then when you do, in the rain, the bar next door has no olives. I will definitely be avoiding here in future, and so should you. There are so many bars in Sligo less convoluted, and do not rip you off, and appreciate your custom. Anderson's being one of many x

Worth a Visit

Dropped in for a couple of pints midweek. Welcoming locals, great staff, good beer. One of our group was a wheelchair user who found that the bar had fully accessible facilities. I’ll be back.

Over priced drink
Sep 2018 • Couples
Kennedy's is primarily a sports bar. It was fairly dead on the Monday night we were there, apart from a few people watching a soccer match. We will not be returning as the drink was the most expensive of all the bars we visited in Sligo. A half pint of Heineken cost €3.8o.
