About
Eagles Flying is a scientifically run Wildlife Sanctuary specializing on Birds of Prey and Owls. We focus on "hands on" interaction between our well trained animals and our visitors. During our educational flying demonstrations members of the audience can have a bird of prey land on their hand or have Eagles, Falcons, Hawks or Vultures stoop inches over their heads while Scientists inform in a friendly and fun way. Our visitors can also visit our unique "Touch-Zoo" where they can play and pet "Tui & Alan" our Foxes, get pick pocketed by "Grizzly" our tame Raccoon, have "Monty" our 4 meter Python around their shoulders or get up close and personal with any of the other unusual animals. Get closer than you have ever been to the masters of the sky. Eagles Flying really is an unforgettable experience and a must see for people of all ages and interests.

A really fun morning. Brilliant staff, even when the birds had a less than cooperative day (which my 5yr old found hilarious). They are excellent at involving as many people as possible in holding the birds.

Just Brilliant. This is an animal sanctuary really, with a pet farm and the added bonus of a engrossing bird show with hawks, eagles and owls. Very enthusiastic and friendly staff and a great way to spend a few hours with the kids . Good value too, less than €50 for a family of 4. Would highly recommend 😊👌👌

We had 8 adults and five children with us. One of the children is a wheelchair user and we found everything accessible. Lovely relaxed atmosphere for the animals and people! The ponies were a big hit with the us all, great experience for the kids to feed them freely, not behind fences! The bird flying demonstration was excellent and very informative aswell as fun. The animal handlers are clearly knowledge passionate, loving the creatures in their care. The petting zoo was great for all ages and the free roaming piglets were a delight. Our entire group were delighted with the day out and we'll be back again. Online booking was straight forward and checking in was too. Helpful and friendly staff. Thank you 😊 Eagles Flying is the highlight of this summer holiday for my family!

We had a lovely family outing to Eagles Flying in Sligo this week. The highlight of the tour is definitely the live birds of prey flying over our heads. The guides were both knowledgeable and entertaining. I would highly recommend a visit.

The show was both entertaining and interactive, and included a number of different birds, barn owl, golden eagle, eagle owl and blue heron to name a few. The park isn’t overly large or “designed” however it is fitting with their ethos of rescuing any animal that needs help and a home. There is an optional free tour on entry which I highly recommend you join in on, it is very informative and includes a brief history of raptors and eagles in Ireland. There are a number of other animals at the park, we were fortunate to meet a baby fawn that had been rescued a couple of days prior on our trip! There are free-roaming Shetland ponies, a family of ferrets and a FUN petting zoo at the end. Highly, highly recommend!!

The birds misbehaving themselves and the humour of our show presenter as a result of these amazing birds of prey having minds of their own was the highlight.

On several occasions some of the birds just didn’t want to do what was required of them and it was hilarious. The presenter was very knowledgeable , entertaining and took the birds unwillingness to perform in his stride. Sammy the Harris Hawk flew away and spent the rest of the show circling and dive bombing the other birds in the show.
Highly entertaining 2 hours and all power to these dedicated people that study and care for all of these magnificent birds.

Brilliant family day out. Went there yesterday with family and the kids couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. Very interactive, staff are knowledgeable and keep your attention. My own kids loved the petting "zoo" where they fed the animals, held rabbits and mice, even got up close to a fox cub. The food can be bought at the hut upon entering. Well worth the money considering they rely on visitors and donations.
