Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great urban space. Good for a easy walk 🚶♂️ around. Also has a child's play area and skate park. On the way into/from town centre for the train station if you want to stretch your legs pre/post a journey

I visited this park many years ago during the Phoenix festival and was amazed to see the transformation. It caters for all ages with a play ground, skate park and beautiful water features. It was lovely to be able to spend time there during our trip to the town.

This park is great. Ample parking and a stroll from the town centre, it's perfectly located. The play equipment for young kids is well designed and varied. We have visited as a family a few times and our young man always sheds a few tears leaving. The fountain area is great too. (Parents if adventurous kids may struggle to prevent the kids from racing between the water jets). There's also a skate boarding area and bowling green (neither of which we have used so I don't know the entry criteria), so a chance of fun for all ages. Note:- I have worked in Tullamore for a while and really love the town. The park is a lovely place for a lunchtime or after work stroll. Tullamore is a fine town with, amongst other things, decent shopping, lovely restaurants, fine pubs, heritage centre, canal setting, etc. Thus i highly recommend the town for its wonderful park, but also for weekend breakers (serviced well from Dublin/Galway by train) or tourists wanting to see a little of what's on offer in mid Ireland.

Disgraceful how your staff don't bother to paint over the filthy graffiti all over the wooden children's house in the playground area. References to drugs and other sexual explicit language. They are there that long that they are becoming weather worn. Also the amount of dog poop in the playground is atrocious too.

Love going here with the family.. and its free.. worst part about it is that recently there are alot of teenager hanging around shouting and roaring and playing on all the young kids amusements! really annoyed us the last day. It could be alot more enjoyable if these folk just hung out in there own playground or maybe try going to school.

Lloys Town park is an oasis close toTullamore town centre. There are a number of paths to explore... to admire and enjoy the trees, shrubs and flowers planted throughout the park which also includes a water feature. It could be a fast, brisk walk or can be taken at a very leisurely pace. The park has a play area for children and a bowling green.

Visited here with friends who were visiting from Edinburgh. To say they were impressed would be an understatement. Located just a few minutes walk from the busy town centre it's like been in a different world. Beautifully maintained by the council, the park has a scate board area and a bowling green. The centre piece is a large fountain with massive water jets. Be prepared if you have kids with you. They will love running between the jets. Lloyd park is a highly recommended activity for anyone visiting Tullamore town for any reason.

This is a very good facility that caters for children, teens through to those of the golden years. It is well monitored and kept very well with a wide range of activities. There is a play area with different activity structures as well as a low risk zip line. Ample area to laze around in or to have a picnic, as well as a skate board zone which is just beside a boules area. There is also good parking and a shop close-by for refreshments as well as a fine water feature area. The only fault I will point out is the water feature's sharp stone edging, concerning trips and falls of young children. In saying that I guess parental supervision is important.
A pleasant place to visit.

Love the playground for the kids, and if its a sunny day, bring the swimming togs for the fountains!
