Not quite sure what so say about this beautiful old Castle ruins because it was closed when I got there. Based on previous reviews that didn't surprise me in the slightest, but those reviews mentioned directions on the gate to go and get the key. Grew up in the area and always loved running around the ruins so it is wonderful to be able to bring my own children there to do the same. Apart from some of it being locked up for H.& S. nothing has changed. A wonderful place full of memories. And best of all is still free.
