Oldbridge Estate is a really great option if you're searching for something to do at the weekend. The grounds are beautiful and offer walks, at various lengths, none of which are difficult. The house itself offers a short but informative exhibition for a small fee....More

The Oldbridge Estate has been turned into an excellent point from which to explore the rich history and scenery of the area. The exhibition housed in the mansion is an excellent resource to stimulate interest in a hugely important but often poorly explained event that...More

I went with two American friends, we all loved it. The gardens are restored to a very high level. One thing we all agreed was that they must, must, must restore more of the house, it would be the icing on the cake!

This is very visual and informative. The displays and mock ups are varied and keep your interest. Loved the gardens too and make sure you visit the cafe. Delicious scones! (Watch out for wasps..got a pretty viscious sting!)

Despite the rain, this was an interesting visit. The gentleman on the desk was very helpful and was pleased to explain the history of the area. The displays were not exactly lifelike but the plan showing the progress of the battle was great.
