As a full-time member of the tourist industry in Ireland, I naturally have a critical eye when visiting other tourist sites and with that in mind, I was highly impressed with the staff, quality and overall professionalism of the entire Battle of the Boyne experience...More

For such an historic battle this is a good way to understand the battle itself. The political background is briefly stated, leading to the understanding that the Protestant and Catholic divide was well established in 1690. There is a brief referral to modern peace efforts,...More

Have been before but continue to learn. The exhibition is quite small though the two short films perfectly educate you on the battle. The entrance is 5 euro but if you're strapped for cash the walled gardens and walks in the grounds are free. The...More

One of my favorite places to have coffee . Beautiful gardens and outside area to sit if the weather is nice. Scones and coffee are just perfect and the resident cats are so cute

While we really enjoyed the Battle of Boyne exhibition we didn't enjoy the cafe. The food is expensive and certainly not value for money. The staff are not helpful and the coffee mediocre.

While this is a great place to go for a walk, it has an awesome visitor center! There is a great overview of the battle and it's significance to Irish history. Includes a 15 minute video.
