(We did the Food Tour of Westport)
Westport is a gem on the west coast, which is why we keep going back. Even still, we didn't realise there were so many great places to eat and drink. Being creatures of habit, we sometimes overlook, and thereby seriously miss out on, the many and diverse great experiences to be had in this great town. Not least the tour, and especially our tour guide, Darren. He made us feel like old friends from the get go. If the essence of a good guide, is a person who has an encyclopedic knowledge of the target area, a relaxed and friendly demeanor, and a great rapport with the locals, Darren has it in spades. I wish we'd done this tour a few years ago.
