My wife and I spent two days in Wesport while on vacation in Ireland last month and figured this bike tour would be a great way to see the area in half a day. It happened to just be the two of us on the tour with Tommie and we had an absolutely perfect, clear day to see the beautiful sights. Tommie took us along the coastline, through the bogs, and stopped at the beach with amazing views of Croagh Patrick mountain. Along the way, we stopped at Mescan Brewery which is a place you'd never find if not on this tour. The Belgian style beer was delicious! Tommie was very friendly and answered all of our questions. So glad we did this tour while visiting Westport.

Our bike day out was so much fun and we actually managed to finish the entire Greenway. Tommie had good quality bikes for the group and when we heard there was 44 kms to cover, he reassured us, we'd make it. Stunning scenary all the way and lots of breaks for photos (and some rest). Lunch in Mulranny was needed and powered us up to cycle on to Achill Island. A "must do" ride.

I hadn't cycled for years so it was with a little bit of trepidation I set off on this tour (brewery, bogs, beaches) with my four friends. Tommie was so patient and good humoured as we all bombarded him with questions. It turned out to be so much fun, we had the weather on our side, the pace and the odd little hill were all doable. The brewery stop helped fortify us, delicious blond beer. The bog and beaches giving variety and beauty. Tommie has certainly created a special tour, he's a great guide with his local knowledge and friendliness.

We were offered high quality mountain bikes to travel the Greenway. Tom (the owner) was kind enough to travel to Newport so we could start our journey from here. On arrival to Mulranny Tom yet again came out to collect us, what I experienced from Westport Cycle tours was nothing was a problem, good quality bikes, excellent and friendly customer service and I would certainly recommend them😀 My thanks for a wonderful day. We did the 1/2 day Brewery, Bogs and Beaches tour. It was so much fun! The brewery does not have public tours or tastings, so this is a great way to see and Irish craft brewery. Tommie was a great guide, giving us some local history and customs.
