on clew bay trail just off the main road

have a walk through the enclosure and look at the stones pointing to Croagh Patrick. Some great birds too.

I visited the stone alignment first in August this year with my wife to look for a geocache. The stones line up with a notch or hollow on the skyline of the hills south of the site into which the sun sets at the Winter solstice.
