Really enjoyed this drive. It hugs the coast of Achill for the most part, which brings you down narrow roads to some breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean from great heights. Definitely worth experiencing if you're in Achill.

We drove to the island from Westport, and this was a perfect day trip. The scenery is amazing! Make sure to go the whole way to Keem Bay as it's definitely the jewel of the island.

The drive takes about an hour and a half. Realistically it will take longer because you are going to stop along the way to see different things and stop at the beaches. It is one of the most beautiful drives in Ireland... More
