We went here when the house was shut so just saw it from the outside but it was still a treat for the eyes. A beautiful house set in stunning grounds with a lake with swans and waterfalls. The gardens surrounding them were alive with...More

Did not go into the house , but the drive up to and walk about was really lovely. It is in a very special spot with a lake, swans, ducks, and small waterfalls. The plantings were not as they could be but looked as if...More

this tour was really interesting it was nice to here about a landlord that wasnt awful to its tenants. i think in the spring or summer when you can really walk the grounds this place would be really cool to visit

Impressive home and history. We enjoyed afternoon tea there and I can see that it is a great place for events and gatherings. Indeed a wedding party was taking photos on the grand staircase while we were there. Grounds are beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.
