I visited the National Park recently during a trip to Belmullet. It was a wonderful experience. It’s a place to go back to as there are different walks you can do of varying distances. Our first walk was around the visitors centre which takes you...More

Visited on a windy and showery day, so raced around the walk which gives very good views of the area, including Achill Island. Then visited the exhibition, which is very well presented giving a lot of local information, followed by a break in the cafeteria,...More

A great way to explore the Ireland of our ancestors and with lots of interactive activities to keep the children entertained as well! A delicious coffee shop with some superb vegetatrian choices and home made cakes. A small art gallery as well to view. The...More

For a free attraction, this is brilliant. The information centre was very interesting and the short walk was quite scenic

Ballycroy is a beautiful park, with great trails across mountain and bog. The park has some very accessible walks too for short trips, day or night. The visitor centre and exhibition are a must-see, the staff are excellent with lots of information about this part...More

Plenty to see and learn. Views are really worth the walk. The walkway provides a clean walking surface across the grass but the hardcore surface elsewhere provide easy walking.
