This church was great. Very old but beautiful from the outside and tall with spires. Worth a visit and take pics.

Church lit with candles, beautiful flowers, musci from the brass band, choir and congregational singing and a packed church. The spirit of Christmas is for 366 days the priest reminded us, next year a leap year.

I called in to view this church having been recommended to do so. I was very pleasantly surprised! The interior is unusual - unlike the standard Protestant churches. I was really pleased that the upkeep of this church is supported by the local Catholic church too. Long may this cooperation last!

Located in the town centre this beautiful church is well worth a visit if you are strolling around Westport. Every doorway and window is decorated on the outside and the interior is simply wonderful, full of Carrera marble and mosaics. A place of serenity and calm.

A stunning church and a delightful priest. This Episcopal church is a landmark which needs lots of money for upkeep. This cause is worthwhile enough for the catholic church to contribute to repairs and maintenance. A wonderful example of ecumenicalism

Beautiful Arts and Crafts style church in centre of Westport. I suspect most people never go in. 10 minutes is enough, so put your head round the door and marvel in the stone work and decoration

It is nice to have a church within the town which offers two separate sessions for mass. Love relaxing in this beautiful church.

The Marquis of Sligo commissioned this church to replace the old church within the demesne. It consists of a single cell terminated by a polygonal apse, and
was consecrated in 1872.
The belfry is also polygonal.
The interior is beautifully decorated- comparable with Clane or Timoleague.

This church is lovely with an interesting history. I found it to be open on the two occasions I visited.

We happened on this a little accidentally and expected little more than a standard Protestant Church of Ireland church, little decorated and perhaps a bit sad. However, it turned out something much better with wonderful early arts and crafts fittings and stylings. Ruskinian Gothic the guide described it as which was right and very well worth a few minutes of your time if you are in the Westport area.
