Good church to visit while in town. Oliver Plunkets head and cellar door on display here. A Spacious and historic old church. Many steps leading up. Christmas day mass here was disapponting. A nice big crib yes but no music, atmosphere and no choir . Far too formal.

Such a peaceful place. Beautiful both inside and out. Famous for the head and relics of St Oliver Plunkett and there's lots of displays, some interactive, about his life. But even aside from that it's a really lovely place to visit even if it's just to sit in peace away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Free to... More

A place of quiet and contemplation right in the centre of town. Easy to find but there are difficulties for parking as in all towns. Worth the effort however if only to see at Oliver's relics. I got married here so I love it

The church is right in the centre of town and it is simply magnificent. It is well worth a visit if you like church architecture.

To God give the Glory of this breath-taking cathedral. Every surface and corner from top to bottom is elegant. The relics, alters and history (see their website) is a phenomenal example of His blessing of artistry, faith and perseverance.

This church is centrally located in Drogheda and is well worth a visit to see the stained glass windows and the altar. Don't forget to see the severed head of St Oliver Plunkett if you have an interest in the subject.

We walked into this church out of the blue. It has saints galore inside. It was beautiful and weird at the same time. It is. Late church, worth the visit if you like churches. We were surprised at the head encased in glass! Oh my!
