We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently visited Quaker Island on Lough Ree with 19 others, what a lovely surprise it was. Located on Lough Ree, it is a historic sight of great interest... The remains of 6 old churches remain to be seen on this very small island.. You can catch a boat to the island from the nearby hotel...

A trip to Quaker Island makes you feel like you are stepping back in time.... Also very few tourists or locals seem to have visited this lovely spot.

A magical place, rich in history: http://www.chooseireland.com/longford/inchcleraun-island/
But enjoy it for the tranquillity. You will probably share the 5th century monastic ruins only with a few curious cattle, as we did. Try and find Queen Maeve's bathing pool. Fish for perch, trout and pike. Bring a picnic.
Get there by hiring a boat from Michael Hanley's hardware shop in Ballyleague (across the river from Lanesborough)

Went here by hiring a boat in Lecarrow from the Loch Ree Boat and Bike Hire. Was the first time we used a motor boat, but everything was explained and practised before we went off alone, so all good. We also got instructions where to land our boat.
Had a wonderful walk on the quiet island. Marvellous adventure.
