Nancy Blake's is an ok pub, with a reasonably good atmosphere before 10pm. After this time, it gets all loud, noisy and distasteful. One can hardly converse thereafter. However I will give Nancy's credit for having Leffe Beer on tap, though pricey! Seating area at the front of the pub is much better than the area which looks like a... More

Was in town having a few beers with the guys after a successful meeting at work. Visited Nancy's and was really delighted with the super service and huge selection of beers and Irish whiskeys. One bar man in particular, Eoin McLosty really looked after us. Great toasted sandwich too.

A little gem! Aunthetic Irish pub when I walked right down to the trad musicians sitting in a corner having a pint and playing music. Step into the next little room with another bar and music from speakers. Step out to the beer garden and fab live band for a little boogie!

We ended up at Nancy's place after drinking and dinner at the Locke. It was right on the way home so we thought we would pop in for a nightcap. ..many drinks later we had to get out and get to bed. We loved the atmosphere as well as the music.

We stopped here for lunch...found out they only have drinks or a grilled ham, cheese and onion sandwich! Go anyhow.. the sandwich was good and we were able to talk to several locals which really enlightened us. The Irish are friendly and kind. Beautiful pub decorated for Christmas...as was the entire town!

This is a great venue. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Great sandwiches for lunch. In the winter always two fires on the go. So nice.

Another pub in the famous market quarter, which is realistically only famous for its horrible door staff, rude pompous pigs will usually greet you with a refusal by any means possible. Average banter, over crowded, long wait for a drink, much more craic to be had elsewhere!!
