What an amazing tour. Our guide, Joe, was knowledgeable, charismatic, and funny. He kept us very engaged and interested the whole time. The stories he told us and the way he told them to us had us “all in” on the experience. The price was right and the tour was completely worth it!

The Kilkenny Ghost Tour was brilliant!! Our tour guide Joe was full of spooky information & medieval history! The fact that there was a full moon helped with the spook. We also loved the Witches hat and Cape to wear for the tour. We looked amazing! Thanks Joe!

Brilliant tour, Joseph/Joe was a very knowledgeable guide, very good with the stories and the facts, you will be intrigued from start 😀 nice guy and very patient, the heavy October rain didn't make him rush the tour, based on what he said I can't wait to see the future project that Kilkenny Council will unveil, I will return again when this project is completely 😉

Myself, my mam and sister went on this tour the 23rd of sep it was such fun we really enjoyed it. We had joe as our tour guide and omg he was so so lovely joe is such a good guide and up for the crack. He was so good at explaining everyting and telling us some ghost storys. Joe is such a credit to the tours. The only thing that disappointed us was there was no witches hats or quistionare and we also never got our certificates either. This tour isn't scary and no ghosts appear 😂 but I do think the website should just say history tour not ghost tour it needs a update on what ur actually getting for your money, we were a little disappointed aswell as we were only outside buildings and could not access the graveyards or castle or any buildings, but apart from that we loved it and love the history being told and we were so happy to have joe as our guide

The best thing about this tour was meeting the lovely, helpful Kilkenny family that was on the tour with us. The tour guide showed up a bit drunk and dressed in a wornout t-shirt. He was nice enough, but he really only told a few ghost stories. It was mostly about the dark history of the town. I have been on many ghost tours and this was one of the worst.

I wouldn't even give this 1 star. I actually thought this was a joke and at some point someone would jump out and take over from the guy who had shown up late and started giving out about the amount of young people out on the town but not after he first picked his nose. This was absolutely Not a ghost tour! The guy knew his history but that's as far as it goes. I brought my 7 year old who was completely ignored when she asked any questions. We were so bored for the hour, it was not fun, definitely not scary but it was very much over priced. I do not recommend this.

We really enjoyed doing this tour on our stay in Kilkenny.
The friendly tour guide Joe was very knowledgeable on the history of the city and was a great storyteller.
I would definitely recommend it if you want to learn about Kilkenny, especially the dark history of it!

This ghost tour left my family very disappointed. No witch hats, lanterns, cloaks. Our tour guide was friendly but very boring. He spoke a lot and I understood a word every 10 he said. It was very hard to pay attention. We dropped out 20 minutes before it ended, not having gone inside any buildings and just lurking outside talking about history. Save your money.

This tour information needs to be rewritten. There were no witch hats, capes or lanterns and it was not spooky at all. It was basically a history tour. We booked it with kids hoping for something fun and entertaining and they were bored. I feel like we were very misled according to the description given on Trip Advisor and the website. Don’t waste your money.

Our tour guide mentioned he gets walk-ins frequently. You don't have to book online.

My family and I are coming over to Kilkenny on 8th April 2015 for my 50th birthday. We are staying for 3 nights and looking for some fun and different things to do while we are there. I have read some reviews on your tour and would be interested to know what is involved, the cost per person and if you will be available to accommodate us on either the 9th or 10th April.
