Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Didn't take long for us to fall in love with this place. The server gave us good recommendations for trying a four-beer flight. We then got pints and ate dinner off the food menu. Selections are limited, but we really enjoyed our chicken and sausage sandwiches. The Irish whiskey selection is carefully curated and comprehensive. I asked for a recommendation; the server brought over three bottles and took the time to give me a full description of each one. We might come back to Kilkenny just to go to this place again!

I last came here about four years ago and it was a bit disappointing then - as now. The pub certainly has some craft beers - but mainly in cans. The beers on tap seem to belong mainly to one single brewer - O’Haras rather than being a collection of different brews. The pub itself smelled unpleasantly of cooking food. Not my sort of real ale place but I did notice they had a lot of tables reserved which may mean it was just me.

Superb selection of beers and whiskies. Outstanding food especially the killer Seafood Chowder. Probably the best pint of stout in the world ( O'Haras Draught stout) and excellent knowledgeable staff led by Ryan.
Don't miss an opportunity to visit here.

Cracking little pub, seafood chowder is delicious and oharas beer fantastic.
Quiet when we visited but sure a night with music would of been busier, would visit again

I am still sat at the table now recovering from the best burger I have ever tasted! The staff couldn’t do enough for us either. It is my first visit to Ireland and definitely won’t be my last.

This is a drinking establishment. They do serve pizza and it looked pretty good but we ate elsewhere. What they do offer is a good selection of Irish craft beers including O'Hara's which they have an affiliation with. They also have a large selection of spirts with very reasonable prices. The bartenders are helpful and knowledgeable and will let you sample the draft beers they offer. So stop by for a drink.

It was a great little pub with local staff. The staff was extremely friendly, and they give great recommendations for beer, and will give you a taste if you're not sure.
Very good experience! Food was delicious as well!

Phenomenal spicy pizza - pepperoni, jalapeño and chili oil. Thin crust, crunchy, would definitely get again. Paired with a pint of Irish red makes for a good snack.

Highly recommend this pub for a chilled out couple of great beers and some burgers to die for. Great selection of board games to play too which is a nice change. Put the phones down and have a game. The staff are great fun with a huge knowledge of the craft beers if you're unsure what to drink.

We were there for the O’Hara beer and it didn’t disappoint! Great live music, great vibe but not too busy. Surprising how early last call was but that’s fairly standard it turns out for Ireland.
