Honestly from the start to finish it was a fantastic trip that didn’t cost the world. As it was raining it was a great way to see the sights and get a feel for where everything was later in the day when we went for a ramble. Our guide was very friendly. Lovely way to see the city in such a short amount of time.

If you've come to visit the castle, you definitely need to take this tour. It takes you around all the major sites in Kilkenny. There's a glass roof which provides an even better view. The driver was very friendly and chatted with us before the tour. This is perfect for those who can walk about much or even perfect for families too. There's an audio tour explaining the sites as you drive around. The castle did not offer self guided tours of the castle. We wandered the grounds and watched a video of the history. We were happy to find this tour and ride around the city. It's also a good way to see the city if the weather isn't ideal. We loved it! A must!

Highly recommend this quick train trip. First, stop by the Kilkenny Castle (which is amazing) and on your way our grab a takeaway coffee and pastry in their tea shop for the train trip. There is Irish music and commentary and it travels through the main parts of Kilkenny. It was fun and you don’t even have to worry about the rain! Highly recommend!

We were in Kilkenny for only a few hours and this was the perfect way to see the town. Our guide took us on a very interesting and informative trip through Kilkenny. We would not have been able to see as much of Kilkenny's historic town on our own. The commentary had interludes of traditional Irish music adding to the experience. Definitely worth the time.

A great fun introduction to Kilkenny on a two coach street train with a glass roof. A recorded commentary runs throughout, very clear and accompanied by some Irish music. It runs through the streets and narrow lanes for 30 minutes passing many noteworthy buildings enroute. Driver is friendly with a good sense of humour.
