This castle was the reason we stayed in Kilkenny. Very impressive from the inside and outside, with nice rose garden. Admission was only 4 Euro.

Really a gem of Ireland, the restoration by OPW has been excellent and the Long Gallery is one of the most impressive rooms in Ireland, if you love art you need to see it.

Beautiful medieval castle with fabulous grounds. Little coffee shop in the grounds if you fancy a coffee and to drink in the views. Well worth a visit.

The weather was gorgeous when we were there. Got a coffee and ice cream in the tea shop. Walked through the Bulter Gallery. Really a nice place to spend an afternoon!
