I wasn’t huge on this place but it is nice to see a castle in great condition. I do recommend if you have time to visit.

Took a tour to Kilkenny and visited the castle, among other sites, in the rain. It’s impressive, as are the surrounding grounds.

Picnics on the back lawn, walks around the grounds, learning about the Castle...need I say more! There is so much to explore and learn about. My husband and I stayed in Kilkenny for 6 days and got to see the castle everyday.

Very nicely renovated. Good signage. Really liked touring at our own pace. Very worth the time and entry fee.

if pressed for time, don't bother. More of a recreation of a Lord's manor house. Many more places/castles to see.

You're missing out if you do not visit Kilkenny Castle. Loved the history, loved the tour. Gem of a landmark.

Ireland did an amazing job restoring this piece of history. The furnishing, paintings and original articles are a list art. It was by far the best Castle we have seen in our visit. A must see for young and old.

We took a bus tour from Dublin. It rained the entire day, but we still enjoyed our visit. The castle is old but the inside has been renovated in the 1800's. We only had about 30 minutes to look, which was fine for the castle,...More

We only saw Kilkenny Castle but it was very worthwhile. It’s been faithfully restored and presents well. We enjoyed Kilkenny its self as well!
