Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I always try to call in to St John's every time I am in Tralee, it is such a beautiful place and always so serene and calm.
Yesterdays visit was my first in about 16 months but the place has lost none of its charm and grandeur.
I love the stone walks and the beautiful cross beams in the roof. The stained glass is captivating too. I'm not sure what word to use about it, not cosy I suppose or even homely, but welcoming.

I come here sometimes for mass. Really good priest, knows his stuff. I always find parking easily. Great architecture and stained glass windows. I'd strongly recommend a visit here to anyone passing the Tralee region.

Beautiful church right in the heart of Tralee just off Ashe Street. It has a beautiful stained glass window and a nice serenity about it. The altar and iconography are beautiful too. The outside is elegant and the high facade and spire dominate the town's skyline. It's well worth calling in if you're in the town, especially given that it's so central and accessible

Gorgeous newly-installed stained glass window. In an era when most churches are replacing their windows with clear ones, it was a joy to see the newly commissioned one themed around reconciliation, highlighting the Prodigal Son & Jesus. Gorgeous!

St Johns is a lovely Catholic Church in the Centre of Tralee. Clergy are nice and the locals are friendly and welcoming. Take time to visit for Mass or services. Enjoy.

I have visited St. John's Church, Tralee, Co Kerry many, many times - the last time being this August 2018.
I have fond memories of it from from my teenage years... The priests there are very dedicated and there are Masses available to fit almost anyone's schedule. Being in the HEART of the town = it's convenient to hotels, the bus/train station and shops... As you enter you'll be greeted by two large marble angels holding holy water fonts.
You'l be able to pick up literature telling you of its great history. The spire towers above every building in the town and can be seen for miles around... Well worth a visit. Hannah-M. 0'D.

We visited the Church in relation to searching for our clerical ancestors. The vicar and voluntary staff we met were very helpful. The Church is beautifully maintained and enhanced by a lovely rich red carpet which I understand was a gift from a church member.
