Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked our Dingle Walk comfort hike with this agent. Everything went fine. Starting with preparation to general information after booking, briefing after arrival and taking care about us during the hike. Each transfer and accomodation were prepared and perfect scheduled. The most of them excellent places with a great view and experience with Ireland. This agent will be booked at every time again!

This is my fourth experience with Ireland Walk Hike Bike. All of them have been outstanding and in their own way extremely diverse.
This one was led by Niamh Quinlan and was expertly tailored.
The islands were those (other than Achill) that I had never heard of before. We ferried out to remote islands, Inishbofin, Inishturk, and Clare Island. The trip also included a hike up the well know pilgrimage trail of Crough Patrick. We had another island to visit. but flights from the USA were delayed a day.
I highly recommend this hike as you travel back in time when visiting these sparsely populated places.
Our stay in Westport, afforded local exposure to traditional music and excellent food. The accommodations were brilliant. Thanks again IWHB for unique, cherished memories. Belinda

IWHB did an OUTSTANDING job planning an itinerary tailored to our wants in a country we had no familiarility with. They listened to what we wanted to see (nature) and not see (churches, castles or anything with much of a crowd) and they were spot on with their accomodation choices, restaurant suggestions, and points of interest. They made the process stress-free including map links to precisely where we needed to go (for example, Tully Mountain which has no trailhead sign). From Dean at the front end to Clodagh regularly checking in during the trip, we always felt they were going to make it a wonderful vacation - and it was. We highly recommend them.

Our guide Linda W. from Ireland Walk Hike Bike truly made our trip unforgettable. The landscapes we saw, from the rolling hills of the Ring of Kerry to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, went beyond our wildest expectations. But Linda's warmth, knowledge, and dedication is what really made our adventure magical. She brought Ireland's natural beauty and rich history to life, going above and beyond to satisfy our curiosity. By the end of our trip, we felt we had made a dear friend.
I would 100% recommend using Ireland Walk Hike Bike if you want to see and feel the real Ireland. They crafted a wonderful custom trip, and really helped us connect with Ireland. Linda absolutely made our time exploring Killarney, Dingle, Galway, and beyond a trip we'll cherish forever.

Ireland Walk Hike Bike organized a custom hiking trip for a group of friends and me that consisted of 2 days each on the Beara, Kerry, Dingle, and Burren Ways. That meant we had multiple reservations for BnBs and transports along the way - something we MIGHT have been able to guess about after hours of research on our own (which likely wouldn't have worked out very well). Instead, IWHB organized the whole thing for us at a very reasonable price - everything was arranged with access to an app that kept up on track with all of the plans (and also kept us on each trail - there are many points when we would not have been sure where to go without that route map!). Communication before and during the trip was excellent - our questions were answered promptly and we always appreciated that a local company had our backs as we wandered around the SW Ireland coastline. Kudos to this company - highly recommended!

I highly recommend Ireland Walk Hike Bike for organizing hiking (and other) tours in Ireland. We used them to organize our 11 day holiday in the Kerry Peninsula, which included 9 days of hiking the Kerry Way with luggage transfers. Company representatives met us personally at the beginning of our trip to go over details and answer any questions. They were very responsive to our inquiries both before and during the trip - even working with us to make some trip modifications requested by us during our hike. This company is local to the Kerry and Dingle Peninsulas so they have local contacts and knowledge.

What a fantastic trip! The hike was well-organized (the app was great), and the accommodations were fabulous. Each inn we stayed at was meticulously clean, and our hosts could not have been nicer. The breakfast served at each inn were delicious and filling. This was our first time in Ireland, and the hike was the highlight of our trip.
We had plenty of information about the hike beforehand, and staff was always available to assist throughout the hike. They even managed to ensure that we had five days of sunny weather :-).

We did a modified self-guided Kerry Way hike with two days in Killarney before three days walking to Black Valley, Glencar and on to Glenbeigh. The company did a great job with communications, B&B bookings and itinerary. The hike was all we hoped for with dramatically different days of moss covered woods, open plains, and a walk down to the shore. September was ideal with comfortable temperatures and cloudless skies. The trail was almost unpopulated as were the accommodations.

What do you tip the guide?

I tip at end of the tour and about 10% of cost of tour. However they do not expect tips and were very grateful for it. You can decide yourself how much. Whatever you give will be ok. Happy walking.
