Walk along part of the Wild Atlantic Way to Barrow golf course and enjoy the fantastic views or surf the waves throughout the four seasons. A true gem in the heart of Kerry.

Very long sandy beach . Great for long walks and great for swimming . Main carpark has lifeguards. Quieter if go up or down from there but no lifeguards there

Look at locallinkkerry. They run a bus a few times per week . It won't allow me to post a link here. Bus Eireann Tralee to Ballyheigue bus passes about 20 mins walk away at Banna Cross.

I did not see any horses on the beach but I certainly can see the appeal. Perhaps you should contact the Banna Beach Hotel/Resort as they seem to have everything that happens in their area under control and they are nice... More
