If you get a nice day this place is stunning. Big beach with lots of room unspoilt and wild. We were there September 1st beautiful warm day kids swimming in the sea also a Wedding party getting photos on the beach.

Not to be missed; this is one of the star attractions of Kerry. Brought a group of friends there last month and they could stop taking about it.

We dropped our bags at our hotel and headed straight to Banna Strand just as the sun was lowering in the evening sky. It took some time to get to the point of setting, but was well worth the wait. Just as we thought that...More

Walk along part of the Wild Atlantic Way to Barrow golf course and enjoy the fantastic views or surf the waves throughout the four seasons. A true gem in the heart of Kerry.

Look at locallinkkerry. They run a bus a few times per week . It won't allow me to post a link here. Bus Eireann Tralee to Ballyheigue bus passes about 20 mins walk away at Banna Cross.
