We stumbled across the Blennerville Windmill and took a tour. There was an informative short movie and some interesting displays. The model railway was good....if this was your thing, you would love it! But for me, the tour of the windmill was fabulous. Our guide...More

We popped in to the Blennerville Windmill on our way to Dingle. This time instead of the self guided tour, we took the tour, and weren't disappointed. He explained the inner workings of the windmill and explained the renovations that were made to it. We...More

Excellent tour led by an engineer, with Irish humor, the history of the windmill and engineering explanations. The Windmill itself is no longer in actual use. There is a short video and lots of other exhibits, as well as a gift shop and cafe. Cash...More

We visited the windmill on recommendation from family and also after reading the great and positive reviews. We visited on a blustery day in August so the sails of the mill were wrapped up, therefore the mill itself wasn't functioning but that is pretty much...More

This is definitely a very cute windmill and definitely worth a drive by and stop in if you are in the area. We did not go in as we did not have time, but glad we got to see it. There is a nice little...More

Well worth the time! The manager was so enthusiastic about his mill (not so sure about his jokes!) and we found the tour very insightful. Good coffee and cakes next door too!

Very interesting tour and our guide was really good and funny kept it more interesting....the mini train village is also a plus and very good value for €5 pp

This windmill was a bit of a surprise as we didn't expect to see on in Ireland. This is actually the tallest windmill in Europe at 21.3 metres height. It was built in 1800. It's actually the only commercially operated windmill in Ireland.

This was a fantastic day & thanks to the guide & train master we had a brilliant time. The guide was funny, charming & really entertained the kids. The trains were awesome, my son loved both of the tours. This is a must.

This is a fun quick stop. Other than the historical significance, not much to actually "do". There is a gift shop. But the walk from tralee, along the marina canal to the windmill is a great walk.
