Best day of our whole trip to Ireland

I would give 10 out of 5 stars if possible! We did the Valentia, Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring tour. We had only one day in Killarney and this was absolutely the best way to spend it. Ray provided us with a recommended itinerary, taking us to the most spectacular sights and also to places off the beaten path. He was also very responsive to requests for certain stops and even added extra time into the end of our tour to visit Killarney National Park. He was so knowledgeable, generous and warm, sharing both historical facts and personal knowledge about the area. We only wish we had time for more days of touring with Ray! This was by far the best day of our week in Ireland. Seeing the sights is one thing, but having Ray to give them context added immense value to our trip. Choosing a private tour with Ray was the best money we could have spent our whole trip.

We had the good fortune of booking Mary for a tour that took us from Killarney to Dingle Ferry. She promptly picked us up at our scheduled time and drove us to our stops of Crag Cave and Cliffs of Moher. We made such good time, we were allowed a bit extra time at the Cliffs before being dropped off at the Dingle Ferry to the Aran Islands. Mary provided wonderful commentary about the area and a nice place where we could grab a bite to eat for lunch. Mary was absolutely great with my 6 year old Sarah, pointing out lots of things for her to see! This was a great way to get from Killarney to Dingle without missing a day of sight seeing to travel, as there were no direct trains or buses that I could find. Mary's car was spotless and she was a very careful and cautious driver.

Stress Free Driving Tour of the Ring of Kerry

Thank you for your fantastic Review. It is always a special occasion to have young children on a tour and make sure they enjoy it. The day was full of diversity and fun things to do and it was a pleasure touring with you.

I highly recommend booking Mary of Walk with Me Tours for your time in Killarney. As my husband and I planned for our trip, which included watching some youtube experiences of The Ring of Kerry drive, it was determined that he would not see a thing as a Canadian driver! Enter, Mary and Walk with Me Tours. Mary customized our journey for The Ring of Kerry and was highly communicative and reliable from inquiry through to the end of our experience. The ride was luxurious, safe, every view and stop taken was spectacular. Mary was perceptive and sensitive to who we were and our travel style. She is professional, truly knows and loves the history of Killarney, and loves what she does. It was great to be able to return at the end of our day stress-free because Mary was at the wheel! Should we return to the area some day, we'll be contacting Mary for even more experiences.

Best decision to treat ourselves with private tour

My cousin & I had the most amazing day with Mary on her West Cork Trip- incredible rural scenery, many lovely stops along the way, time to walk a bit, shop, best lunch at Jack's Restaurant- food and the wonderful feeling inside. It rained a bit which didn't matter at all. We highly recommend and would definitely contact her again. Rather than a star review, just to say, her historical knowledge, choice of stops and wonderful personality made us feel we had made a friend.

Part of our family's recent trip to Ireland was to see that lands my ancestors left when they emigrated to the United States. Ray put together a wonderful day-long tour for us of the few sights we knew we wanted to visit. He even did his own research of the area to try and help us out a bit more. Because of his long history around the county, he was also able to reach out to friends in order to put us in contact with others who might be able to help us out with our own research. We had a nice lunch at a nice diner and were able to grab a drink at the Alley Bar thanks to recommendations from his friends. Ray was just all around wonderful! He was so personable, fun, and knowledgeable. I am so glad to have found Ray.

The Best!

If I could leave ten stars, I would. Hiring Mary and Ray for four days of touring was the single best decision we made in planning our bucket list trip to Ireland! We spent three days with Mary and one with Ray, and each day was spectacular. Not only did we see things we never would have found on our own, but their knowledge of history, customs and culture added so much to the things we saw. They were professional, but so warm and friendly, helpful, reliable and fun, and we also appreciated their advice on pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc. I cannot recommend Walk With Me Tours enough - they took our trip to the next level! Thank you so much Ray and Mary!

Mary Walsh of Walk with Me drove my daughter and I to the small town of Castlemaine, Ireland where my maternal Grandmother and her family once lived. I was not up for driving "on the wrong side of the road" and picked Walk with Me based on Trip Advisor reviews. The glowing reviews are spot on! Mary is an excellent driver, dependable, friendly, and helpful. She picked us up at our hotel and first drove us to Tralee to visit St. John's Church where my late mother was baptized just before coming to America in 1932. In Castlemaine we visited St. Carthage's Church and the cemetery. As we looked around, Mary was able to fine the grave site of my Grandmother's siblings. I can't express enough how touching and spiritual this moment was. Mary was patient and so kind. We never felt rushed to move on from place to place. Mary also took us on a beautiful and relaxing drive through Slea Head. If you are heading to Ireland (lucky you!) and need a driver for any portion of your trip, I highly recommend Walk with Me. May the luck of the Irish be with you all!

Fun Filled 3 Day Adventure

Thank you for a great Review of a fantastic day. It is always interesting on genealogy tours as you never know how much information you will find but usually it is an abundance of history and especially talking to the locals always throws up interesting details of the family's history and relations. I hope you and your daughter went home with very happy memories and will return again some day in the future. Best Regards Mary

We had a marvelous time exploring Killarney with Ray. He picked us up at Shannon airport (with a sign) and we immediately felt comfortable and excited for our journey. We saw the Gap of Dunloe and Killarney national park, did a Ring of Kerry tour (including great spots off of the typical path), and went to Galway stopping at some great places along the way. Ray was incredibly accommodating and always willing to lend a helping hand. The van was large and comfortable. Ray knew so much information and shared a lot of it with us (he was able to answer every question no matter how obscure) and provided great recommendations. There is no better way to see this area than to do so with Ray and Mary!

We three couples finished eight days tour
with Ray few days ago.
We planned the tour in Ireland together with Ray.The car he drives is spacious
and we , six persons had a lot of space
for us and for the luggage.
Ray drived and guided us through interesting places in Ireland and we enjoyed his knowledge and explanations.
We spend eight wonderful days.
For a private tour in Ireland we highly recommend Ray Walsh from "Walk With Me".

My girlfriend and I booked a day trip around the Ring of Kerry/Skellig Michael with Mary. The day was most enjoyable for us. Mary is a fountain of knowledge so even as an Irish person I learnt so much about the interesting history and culture of county Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is an amazingly scenic drive and I would recommend it to anyone looking to experience Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
