Not for the faint of heart. Winding, narrow and steep roads take you on a tour of magical natural scenes.

A must see if you are in the area. Beautiful, remote scenery with unparalleled vistas -- one drives a single lane road down a desolate, windy, narrow valley full of sheep. We started at the top and drove down the valley (leaving Kenmare and heading...More

We took a tour of the Ring of Kerry with a private local driver and were able to sit back and relax during a full day tour from Killarney. We saw the Gap of Dunloe, Ladies View, the cliffs, Black Valley and the green countryside.

Well worth driving the narrow one lane roads for a chance to see the incredible vistas that await you! Rugged countryside, sheep, beautiful valley. The highlight was the mountain pass along a loch with rock walls on the other side, Gap of Dunloe.

Beautiful valley nestled in the mountains, it can be accessed on foot as part of the Kerry Way walking trip and from here you can continue to Killarney or Glencar.

If you can go here on foot through the Gap of Dunloe, its the most amazing walk and it leaves you free to get a boat back to Killarney. The boat trip is fantastic in its own right, those boat guys are characters and will...More

We were doing some cycle touring near Killarney in August. Yeah - this is high season and there is lots of traffic around the Ring of Kerry, but my partner works for the school board, so not much choice butt to travel at this time....More

A truly amazing experience, incredible views and so much history. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and that includes the sunburn...who'd have thought?

The jaunting carts take you through here on their Gap of Dunloe tour. If the carts are too rough for you you can drive through the Gap either before 8:00 or after 8:00. It is very narrow and is not a good road but I...More

Lovely scenery and could be combined with other close beauty spots to make a tough but lovely walk. Beware it is a long slow drive through.
