Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went Kayaking to Inishfallen this morning....Mick was our guide, he made us feel very welcome & explained everything thoroughly to us as it was our 1st time kayaking. Mick was very knowledgeable about the history of the area & made the experience very interesting. He also made it fun for our 11yr old & included him in tasks so he didn't get bored on the island. We also saw deer which was a lovely surprise.
The kayaking was fun & fairly easy to manage....would definitely recommend, no faults, a great morning had by all. Thanks Mick

Thank you Diarmuid and Dean for a fantastic kayaking trip yesterday . Although high winds resulted in occasional swells in the lake and we were unable to get to Innisfallen island you improvised well and took us on a great trip around different parts of the lake ,with stops at intervals to hear stories , history and learn some local geography. .giving us a chance to rest too ! Diarmuid is a charming , warm person and very caring about his charges ! The Killarney lakes are stunning - with fab views of the mountains! We are a couple in our 50s with 2 teenagers and although it’s physically demanding we had great fun !
I highly recommend this adventure!
Tip : Have a flask in your car so you return to a hot drink - a life saver after being wet for a few hours !

Personal circumstances left our party unable to take the tour with only 1 hour until it was meant to begin. Although we did not actually get to do the tour, we wanted to leave this 5 star review for the excellent customer service we experienced when we rang up to let them know our situation.

Michael went above and beyond what was required and was able to find a party to take our place with just one hour to go and ensured us a refund despite our late cancellation.

It’s easy to see why this is such a popular activity (and why there was no issue finding people to jump on the tour last minute) with people like this running it. Go raibh mhile mhaith again!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect start to the day. The water was so still it reflected the McGillycubby's Reeks mountain range creating this amazing scenery as we paddled effortlessly to the Innisfallen Island. Mark and Diarmuid were our guides. They have great charisma and they filled the tour with folklore, history and some geology. It was a beautiful and unique way to explore a little corner of Killarney.

Definitely recommend bringing spare shoes and clothes to change into after the tour. You have to walk knee-deep into the water before sitting into the kayak, and the Innisfallen island shore is a little muddy.
The tour was family friendly (the youngest member of our group was a boy of maybe 5 who sat on his father's lap while he paddled)

We went kayaking yesterday and loved every second of it. Mark and Diarmuid were very friendly and informative. We took the tour out to innisfallen island and were told the history of the national park. We will definitely be taking another tour with these guys next time we are in Killarney. Thanks for a lovely day and great memories. 👍

My mum and I decided to join this tour to see the Ring of Kerry and it was a delightful day out. On our trip, the tour was run with a group who were on a 5 day tour of Kerry. Overall, the group was fun (and it did not detract that we were only joining them for the day) and the knowledgable driver/tour guide was kind and made sure all of us felt included. Because it was November, some of the optional components of the tour were not available. We were able to take a walk up to the Bray Head and see the Skellig Islands. It would be so easy to say that because the Ring of Kerry is a drive, one could just rent a car and drive the route yourself. However, there is so much more gained when you are travelling the route with someone who is local and knowledgable about the area. I would highly recommend this tour for someone who wants to enjoy the Ring of Kerry.

Had a great day out yesterday with Wild N Happy tours in Killarney.
Kevin, our guide was very nice and told us lots of nice little stories along the way. We went up the zig zag route and came down the Devils Ladder. We were all delighted to reach the top and had great views all around. Would recommend!
