We were second in line to get in, when a group of 45 arrived. They let them pass in front of everyone, and of course, they all took the best seats (windows), leaving only aisles (with limited view) available. The one in charge of the group didn’t have any information about the booking when asked by the captain, no proof of payment, it was still not a problem…
I’ve travelled enough to understand that groups have priority lanes in museums. They have a schedule to follow, they can’t wait. In a boat??? We all leave and come back at the same time.
For this company, if you paid the full price by booking directly with them, you are second class passengers, and you take the leftovers.
I regret I didn’t book with the other similar tour. They have better overhead windows, so if you are stuck in the middle, at least you can see something.
