St Mary's Church is a quiet respite and worth a quick visit. It is simply decorated compared to many cathedrals. It is located just off of High Street in old town Killarney. It is worth a quick pop in.

We spotted this Cathedral as we drove past in the dark. It looked amazing as it was beautifully illuminated. By daylight it also did not disappoint. A stunning building of grey stone, carefully crafted cloisters internally and wonderful stained glass windows. Well worth a visit.

Still a working religious site, St. Mary's Cathedral is in very good condition and is the most easily seen landmark in Killarney.

St. Mary's RC Cathedral borders the park and is just a short walk from the main part of Killarney. Imposing architecture and stunning stained glass windows make it a worthwhile stop on one's itinerary.

It was absolutely pouring with rain the afternoon we visited this stunning and peaceful cathedral. There is so much to see in Killarney but this cathedral should be on everyone's list.

We were passing by Kilkenny yesterday afternoon and we stayed there for about 2 and a half hours. We saw the cathedral standing there on our way back to the bus and we figured we had some time so we went in. Free admission, no...More

We were able to see this beautiful cathedral while in Killarney. just walking distance from the town and be the park.

The cathedral is breathtaking and so worth a visit. It is a fantastic monument but still so woven into the lives of the locals. Absolute priviledge.

The celebrated architect Augustus Pugin designed this beautiful cathedral which sits opposite the Killarney National Park and only five minutes walk from the main shopping precinct. With its soaring ceiling, attractive stonework and stained glass windows time spent within was truly peaceful and moving.
