We had a lovely time at the Kerry Creamery experience. Creameries are such an important part of the history of rural Ireland and you really get a sense of that from the tour. We loved taking a look at the old creamery building, old machinery and the record books there. If you have any connections with faming or rural life in Ireland it is well worth a visit. Lovely cafe too and plenty to entertain the kids with animals and playground.
We visited for Culture Night they had a wonderful film playing about the Kerry Cow. It was a lovely meeting of new and old, traditional and contemporary culture.

Lovely tour taking me back in time. Great reminder of some of the things we used to do growing up on the farm and a deeper explanation to how it used to be in Ireland. Deliciously ending with a coffee along with a scone with jam and yes of course cream!!!

Recently popped in to check it out, and I was so happy I did! Annette was so knowledgable and it brought back some great memories of dropping churns off with my father many years ago. I would imagine there are not too many of them in Ireland, so go for it!

We passed this place on the way to Inch beach and decided to take a trip back to it the next day. My little ones (3 year old and 21 months) absolutely loved it! The place is ideal for small kids as its enclosed so they can roam free and you can relax with a tea or coffee while still being able to keep an eye on them. At €5pp it's an ideal place for keeping the kids entertained and all the old memorabilia from the days of hand milking and butter making is an interesting read for the grown ups.The playground has swings and slides, little playhouses but the highlight for my 2 was the petting farm. They got to feed the goats, hold the bunnies and gather eggs. Annette the owner was very welcoming and the cafe offers toasties, waffles with different toppings and delicious ice cream! It's definitely somewhere we'll look fowrd to visiting again on our trips back to Kilarney!

This Experience capture's the traditional style of everything that old Ireland had many years ago when creameries were part of culture of the local parish. But the Kerry creamery experience has it all , it has the old tradition, with a very detailed tour and history of the creamery and also has a delightful farm of animals for any animal lover and of course the kiddies. It has an excellent play area for the kiddies including slides and swings within the building. The cafe is superb , the interior is beautiful and has a very cosy feel gives a little taste of local tradition. There is an excellent choice of homemade treats and excellent coffee & teas. The owners of this establishment have hit the nail on the head . You want to learn about traditions of old Ireland you can , u want a place to stop off with the kids and relax with a coffee you can , or see farm animals you can . The owners are very welcoming and take care of every need !!!!! An excellent experience!!

We stopped on the way to Dingle for tea & coffee but were amazed at the offering at the Kerry Creamery Experience. Definitely worth a visit for all ages - the older generations will remember the creamery carts and for the younger people, the live animals and farm themed play areas are sure to entertain. Plus the coffee, tea, ice-cream and rhubarb crumble are not to be missed ! Thanks to the Garland family for a lovely morning, so glad we stopped !.

We were at the Experience about 1-1.5 hours, it was very interesting. The tour is a history about creameries and dairy-did you know it's 6000 years old? We sure didn't! There are different exhibits, live animals, a playground, and outside a donkey and mini pony keeping each other company. You could eat outside or inside, but we had already lunched so can't comment other than it looked delicious. A great rainy day spot due to a couple buildings and overhangs.

Was afraid this would be only for children but we truly had a great time! Paul is extremely knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions as he shared the history of the creamery and the local area! It also has a great little cafe open to the public that would be wonderful for gathering.

This is a real hidden gem in the rural area of county Kerry, Ireland. Annette and Paul welcomed our group of 21 with a beautiful lunch and then a custom tour of the creamery. Close to the Kerry woolen mills, so the two together make a fabulous stop.
