Well worth a visit
Sep 2021 • Solo
From the moment I arrived I was given such a warm welcome from Annette & Grace. The guided tour was fabulous as was the home baking and lemon drizzle cake.
It brought back very happy memories of farming & going to the creamery in days gone by.

Hidden gem of Killarneuy
Sep 2021
This experience was the hidden gem in our Killarney visit. It was extremely interesting and the hosts could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. The tea house was an unexpected bonus - home made scones and tea after the tour made the day perfect. My girls are 23 and 24 and they loved the animals, and even got to hold some bunnies. We loved the pony with the "bangs". I highly recommend.

Lovely day out for all the family or catch up with friends and kids.
Sep 2021 • Family
Recently went to The Kerry Creamery Experience and it was a fabulous day out for kids which I was unaware existed in Listry Milltown area (approx 15 mins from Killarney and 10 mins from gap of dunloe) with plenty parking in the back. They have animals such as rabbits, goats, donkeys, hens etc they currently have new born rabbits which are lovely to see. There is lovely play ground with a large cow that kids can pretend to milk(water drips into a bucket), slides built into John deer tractors, Little wooden houses marked as shop, creamery etc for interactive play. There is a lovely coffee shop so it's great for a catch up while being able to watch kids. The area is nice and contained. Definitely worth a visit and very reasonable. I went with a four year old and a two year old and both really enjoyed the experience. Will definitely be visiting again. They also do parties and will be having santa clause visit this year as well. There is a tour on the creamery experience but I didn't do this when I went so can't comment on this will try do this at some point but this would be nice for older kids, adults, grandparents.

Great after hike homemade snack away from the crowds
Sep 2021 • Couples
Perfect spot for a snack after Gap of Dunloe hike. Wonderful pies, pastries and cakes made fresh with local cream and butter to go with coffee. Wonderfully friendly service and advice for the area. We didn’t have time for the Creamery experience but looks great for families with children.

Excellent

Kids loved the animal interaction with donkey ride and rabbit stroking. Guides gave a lovely feel of life in rural Ireland a hundred years ago and we’re able to explain clearly the process of cow to butter. The cream scones and cakes were gorgeous too. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Kerrific! A welcoming, wonderful experience of Kerry heritage & hospitality!

A slice of Irish heritage to match the slice of cake. Have both, they're wonderful!

The tour provides an intimate account of how life unfolded in the area, not so long ago. The goings-on, both of and at the local creamery are surprisingly fascinating. Kids will enjoy the playground, but especially the friendly animals. The Tea Room has a robust offering of treats that will delight anyone in the group. Without exaggeration, I can say that our cake was as good as any I've had in Ireland.

You could pop in for refreshment, and be on your way. But I'd recommend staying. Relax your schedule and be open to learning about a bit of the world that is passing us by (or that we're passing by). When we did, Paul and Annette welcomed us as old friends for a leisurely sit & chat on the porch. With Carrauntoohil illuminated in the foreground, the children didn't want to leave and the adults felt at home.

Amazing coffee place
Aug 2021 • Couples
A stop at their coffee place is a MUST. We stopped by because the place looked lovely, the decoration was beautiful, but then the carrot cake and the scone.. Mmm so yummy! Capuccinos were also great. Most important, the lady was very friendly and nice.

The BEST carrot cake
Jul 2021
I had a slice of their real homemade carrot cake and it was the best I have ever eaten. Well worth a visit to see photos of Ireland when fresh milk was taken in churns to the local creamery by horse or donkey and cart.

Well worth a visit!

Beautiful spot, great coffee, lovely fresh ice cream and delicious homemade cakes. Very nice outdoor seating, as there is a lot more seating than can be seen from the road. Family owned and well worth a visit! 😊
