Paudie Murphy is a fabulous guide! He’s personable, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. We hired him for a tour from Killarney to Dingle and then Slea Head returning to Killlarney via the Conor Pass and a windmill at Tralee. He recommended a good place for a quick lunch in Dingle and had bottles of water for us in his most comfortable van. And he knows all the best spots of great photos! Truly a memorable experience!

We were SO fortunate to have Paudie as our driver/guide for 2 days last week! We had planned our own itinerary but were reluctant to do our own driving. With Paudie we were able to see everything we hoped to see and more! We were comfortable in his van and trusted his excellent driving skills. He was flexible and accommodating at all times and made suggestions for certain stops.
Our first day with Paudie we began at a sheep farm and then continued on to Dingle and Slea Head drive. I requested that we avoid the Conor Pass, which worked out really well. When the place we were hoping to have lunch at was closed, Paudie suggested an excellent restaurant in Dingle. We were also able to see Inch Beach on the way back to Killarney.
On our second day Paudie drove us from Killarney to the Cliffs of Moher, stopping along the way at our request and also at places he thought would interest us. We got the feeling that it was just as important to him that we enjoy the trip as it was to us. After the Cliffs I asked if we had time to see the Burren – no problem, he took us there too, even though it was late in the day.
We highly, highly recommend reaching out to Paudie to see the best of Ireland! Thanks again Paudie!!

We enjoyed Paudie’s considerable knowledge of the areas we drove through. He is considerate, thoughtful and flexible to stop where you might have an interest. Paudie is an incredible guide and his Ring of Kerry tour is not to be missed! He was born and raised on the Ring of Kerry and, as a result, knows everything about the area and is friendly (or related to) most everyone who lives there. He took us places we never would have found on our own or seen on another tour, and we loved his stories of growing up in the area. The tour was entertaining, educational, and spectacularly beautiful. And his van is super comfortable and immaculate. Our kids loved Paudie and we look forward to seeing him again for another tour. We highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with Paudie. The one day Ring of Kerry trip with Paudie was very enjoyable. He gave us titbits of information to all the locations that we drove through. He was a very sweet and considerate person and was very flexible with what we wanted to do, visit and eat. Would defenitely recommend Paudie and Wildatlantictours to all of you

Paudie was an amazing tour guide, I could not recommend him enough! We were doing the Ring of Kerry on a very rainy day so we weren’t sure we would see much. Boy was I wrong! We were treated to all the amazing sights even with the weather. I have done the Ring before but I have never seen it like Paudie showed us. He grew up on the Ring and knows all the best places! You won’t find tour buses where he takes you. Do yourself a favor a book a tour with Paudie. You don’t want to drive and you don’t want to be on a bus. He is an absolute gem!

We had such a wonderful time and could not recommend this any more! Our family took a private day trip to see the Cliffs of Moher, and had an amazing experience. Paudie is a wealth of information on the area and we learned much about the land and culture throughout our journey. He also knows all of the best spots off the beaten path to stop and take pictures that we otherwise never would have found. When we got to the cliffs, Paudie arranged to have a buggy take us all the way up to the top as my mom had recently had surgery and couldn't walk the full route. On our way home, he drove us through The Burren, another unexpected beautiful stop with moon-like rock everywhere which made for more amazing photographs. Would definitely use Wild Atlantic Tours again - we had a lot of laughs and made some memories of a lifetime! Thanks Paudie!!

18/4/2023- We've dubbed Paudy the "King of the Rings"! It's a joy when you find a person who loves people and knows the history of his country. We book a tour of Dingle and it was so spectacular we decide to ask if he'd show us the Ring of Kerry, which was his birth place. This too was a wonderful tour! We were shown Valentia Island where one of three locations in the world you can see tetrapod tracks. Along with the all the beautiful sites Paudy has found lunch stops that will absolutely outstanding. I /We highly recommend Paudy and look forward to our next visit to Ireland so we can ask him to show us more of his lovely country.

We had a spare day in Killarney and really wanted to tour the Dingle Peninsula but I was reluctant to test my left-driving skills on the very narrow roads of Slea Head. I wanted to live through the experience. So, on a whim, we linked up with Paudie Murphy and spent the rest of the day with him. He drove and shared a steady stream of information and history. He knew where to stop to get the best picture. Our day was just plain fun and so much richer in all ways than if I had attempted the drive. No Valiums required either. Paudie is the best! We would go back to Ireland just to have him guide us about another time. He also kindly returned my camera lens cap which he found after I thought I had lost it. Totally first rate!!!

Our friends Lynn and Steve had been recommended a tour of the Dingle Peninsula with Paudie Murphy, and we were lucky enough to be invited along for the adventure. For of all, we’ve been travelling by bike through Wales, England and Ireland for three weeks now, so it was a joy to jump into a huge, clean, comfortable car, and have a driver do the navigating as well as the story telling!
We saw many staggeringly beautiful vistas, enjoyed our walks and drives on the sandy beaches, our strolls in the wind, our visit to ancient beehive huts and oratories. I think the success of the day can be seen on the smiles in the pictures below.
Paddy is a highly competent and experienced guide. I highly highly recommend his services and only wish that we had had more time with him.
