Our CIE Tour Director Eamon recommended the show and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the dancers, singers, and musicians. The gal on the Irish Harp played and sang beautifully. Love the harp had never had the pleasure of hearing one played. The dancers were...More
Went to show with anticipation of seeing traditional Irish step dancing. While the show had potential to be good, the choice of venue completely ruined experience. Setting was hotel conference room with no elevation to floor. Could only see dancers from knees up,none of their...More
The show was good. Musicians, dancers and singer were all very good. The venue however is terrible - a small hotel banquet room with terrible lighting and stage with low ceiling. Unless you’re in the first 3 rows, it is impossible to see dancers’ feet....More
The Gaelic Roots show is about song, dance and music. My first experience watching an Irish dance and I was enchanted. It is held in a small hotel room with a badly set up stage and poor lighting. The performers' talents were diminished by this...More

I'm not positive, but I believe all photography is prohibited. The venue at the Killarney Avenue Hotel is very small, so on the front row you are VERY close. Touching the stage, close. We were on the 3rd row, and I would have liked to have been back a little further. No matter where you sit, you'll enjoy the show! I can't compare it to any other, as it's the only one I've seen live. This show has music (vocal and instrumental) as well as plenty of dancing. I think it's the best of both worlds.
