Having read Jon Katz's books about his experience with border collies and sheep; I was thrilled to get a chance to see them in action. It was great. We were also allowed to hold some of the lambs (April visit)

This was an interesting spot to stop. The border collies are very good at sheep herding and the farm is located in a gorgeous setting. We also watched the sheep being sheared, which gave us a sense of how much work goes into making wool....More

The landscape is scenic, even if the sheep farm wasn't there. Add the entertainment of the dogs herding the sheep makes it an amazing experience. Also saw the worker sheer a sheep and learned why the sheep have colors on their backs. Good little stop...More
