I was there in Sept. 2016 - I guess I am slow in the review - but it was fantastic. First, it is set in a spectacular landscape - along the Ring of Kerry (if you can absolutely do this drive). Second, the sheep 'round...More

My family visited this attraction while I was attending a business conference at INEC and they loved it! They paid seven euro each to join a large tourbus group of visitors. The hardworking sheepdogs did their thing, while the farmer explained the sad economics of...More

If you have never seen border collies in action, this is a must see stop. This sheep farm is I think one of the larger sheep ranches in Ireland. A family operation, it is obviously a labor of love for the people who work here....More

Absolutely amazing time watching the sheep dogs and the sheep. Would go back again, and loved sharing this experience with my husband our daughter. The sheep shearing demonstration was interesting and we couldn't believe how quickly he worked.

Friendly family and staff, hard working sheep herding dogs and a show of 20-30min of several dogs doing their round up. Saw similar in New Zealand but this topped everything for proximity visibility of herding. Yes, would go out of our way to visit again....More

Great experience for anyone especially families. Very informative, friendly and knowledgeable farm owner John Kissane readily answers questions. Helps the general population to understand the burden that most modern family farms face without the addition of agribusiness to aid in their survival. Great program to...More

While driving the Ring of Kerry, we came across the Kissane working farm advertising sheep dog demonstrations. Couldn't pass that up! The farm owners gave the demo and it was great. They would verbally send the dogs hundreds of yards out to gather, group the...More
