I originally sought out Mid Kerry for some simple transfers and ended up with a two-day driving tour up the wild Atlantic way from Kinsale to Galway. Probably the best thing I have done in a long time. My family and I have hired drivers and guides in lots of places in Europe, Jordan and Israel and this was up there as one of the best, Lawrence customized a tour for us, listening to what I wanted to see, changing this, changing that, based on our email conversation. what we ended up with was a once in a life-time experience. Paddy our driver took us up and over hills, through valleys, to small towns, past scenic views that I could not imagine, and he did all of this with the pleasant disposition. He knew a story about every town, every place to stop for a minute or an hour, how to take this little ferry from the Dingle penninsular to save time and a decent place to shop in every town we went to. simply a pleasure to travel with. The van was incredibly comfortable and spacious, clean and very well maintained. I can't recommend Mid Kerry enough

Great tour of the Ring of Kerry. Our tour guide and driver, Judy O'Shea was great fun and very knowledgeable about the area and Ireland's history. A day well spent and well worth the money.

Had to cancel a booking due to COVID. Did not expect my money back but asked them if I could book again when next in Ireland. Straight away they refunded my credit card payment. Wow. Great customer service. Will be back to book them when we return in February.

I would stay away from this company. I had a Ryan Air flight from Dublin to Kerry and set up a ride, payment and a tip. A storm came in so no flights were able to land in Kerry. They had my flight info and I contacted them immediately. They kept the money and tip and that was it. I eventually got there that day and had to pay again for a taxi. All my Ryan Air flights on that trip were cancelled or significantly delayed so you’re risking it paying this company in advance if there are flight issues.

Dear Tim,
Sorry to hear about your 1 star review but your review needs to be more clearer on what exactly happened with your taxi booking you were to be collected off the arrival flight from Dublin due at 10:05am flight number FR611 on 27th September, when your flight departed from Dublin airport our driver then left our base and travelled 23km to be at the airport on time for your flight and greet you in the arrivals hall.
As the driver was waiting for your flight to land at the airport Ryanair decided not too land due to high winds etc, after another 20 minutes driver waited just in case they were going to make another attempt but found out by security that no it was going back to Dublin airport, after this our driver returned to base the time involved in this transfer was almost 2 hours and he had travelled 46km.
All of the flight path can be seen here on this link https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/fr611#32331fdb showing clearly that the flight did leave Dublin and did not land when it was approaching Kerry airport, you emailed us at 12:14pm letting us know flight was cancelled & asking us to collect you again at 5pm that evening and we explained to you that this was not possible as we already had our driver at the airport that morning.
If we had received a cancellation email or phone call from you before our driver left base you would have been refunded, but this was not possible for you as the flight was not cancelled and had left Dublin on time (as we track all flight) but on approach to Kerry airport it was then diverted back to Dublin.
On our website there is a terms & conditions policy, I hope this explains to you why you were not refunded, I have looked into your tip it was €6 euro’s this will be refunded.
Again sorry to hear that you see us as only a 1 star service, but we do try our best to provide a professional service and there are a lot of other customers that have been very happy with our service please find reviews on link https://www.midkerrycabs.ie/reviews

I used this company for a pick up at Tralee airport to dingle. Super easy to find and book online . You can pay in advance with card or paypal.
Very punctual , also super fliexible with the location of the drop off as it turned out to be not the address i was given . Lovely comfy car . Margaret my driver was like a breath of fresh air, what a lovely lady . I didn’t want to get out of the car !!
If i am coming back this way i’d definitely book them again , id nearly fly back just to do it. 😂

I can not express my heartfelt gratitude enough for the tour and the services provided by MId Kerry Cabs and Tours. Margot our guide was one of the highlights of our vacation and she made our stay in Dingle more enjoyable. Her knowledge of the area and sites was incredible. She provided so much information and history on the areas we visited. (Dingle, Slea Head, Ring of Kerry) Her personality is incredible and when I asked my family what were some of the highlights of our trip, Margot was number #1. They really enjoyed her company. Her professionalism was unparalleled and her true love of Ireland really shined.
We have family and friends planning on visiting Ireland and will ensure that they use your services and ask for Margot. I can not thank you enough for making our vacation that much more special.

2 taxis booked for 15 of us. They were on time, the drivers were professional and helpful. The cost was reasonable. Great communication with the office. Would recommend !

I contacted the company by email about 6 weeks before our trip to Ireland. Margaret and Lawrence answered all my questions, helped me through the bookings. Our driver David picked us up from Shannon airport right on time. He was accommodating to our needs and well versed and knowledgeable about the area. He made the 2 hour drive to our accommodations enjoyable and fun. I would highly recommend this company for all your needs.
