This was a great tour with kids in tow. Guide/leader Mi has a nice way with teens, is super patient and the tour lets you see some cool stuff on the Wild Atlantic Way. The caving was great, two of our party declined and that was handled perfectly, and the cliff diving was the highlight, not too scary and very very cool.
Do this tour if you are at all interested, you will be glad you did.

You must do this tour! It is THE BEST experience. We did the caving trip, and it was just unreal. Michael, is absolutely fantastic. We were traveling into Galway on the day of the only open trip, so he arranged for us to meet him at a spot on the way to the start of the trip, and we are so grateful that he did! The our groups are small, but I was still impressed that Michael remembered everyone's name and addressed them with it all day long. He made a point to chat and communicate with everyone throughout the day. You certainly end the day feeling like you've known your group for awhile, and not just a day.
The ride out to the caves is beautiful, and along the way Michael provides info about the area and any landmarks. He was also great about answering any questions we had. Once we arrived at the caves we get all the gear on (it is provided for you) and headed into this beautiful forest to get to the caves. It's a truly unique spot, not one that many from Ireland even know about, making it a real hidden gem. The caving was probably the coolest thing I have ever done!! It was such a cool and unique experience. Along the way Michael would point out things and give us more information about caving and also took photos for us that he sent to us afterwards.
After caving, we had a delicious lunch on the Cliffs of Moher. We had a spot to view the cliffs, without being in the huge crowd of people on top of the cliffs at the main entrance, another great benefit of having our own personal local guide for the day. After lunch we headed to the final stop, threw on some jump suits and headed to another unique, locals only spot to do some cliff jumping.
This is a truly unique, all day, all encompassing tour. Worth every penny!
It was an exhilarating, amazing day that we will never forget.

Myself and a few friends went caving with Epic Ireland recently and it was absolutely unreal.
We started off in Ballyvaughan and met MÃcheál there, we headed into the Burren (i've no idea where we actually went location wise)
MÃcheál gave us all the gear we would need, wellies, waterproof pants and jacket, helmet and light. Once we were all ready we took a walk into the woods that we were parked beside.
We walked into the woods and we found the cave entrance where the river went under ground. This is where we entered the cave. We spent the next few hours in there following MÃcheál around and exploring the cave.
This is a MUST DO activity if your looking for something different and your up for a bit of an adventure.
Your socks will get wet so bring a towel and a change of socks. Maybe a change of trousers as well.

An active tour was the perfect way to appreciate the west coast of Ireland. A friend of mine was visiting from abroad, and i didn't want to show the cliché Irish view. MÃcheál was the perfect host for our trip, balancing a good mix of geographical knowledge with a hearty bit of banter.
Caving was something i never imagined being so fascinating. It felt like exploring a brand new world. The time underground just flew by. The rain didn't spoil our trip either, as we got a great view at the Cliffs of Moher, and the cliff jumping into the sea brought some strange looks from other tourists in the area.
I couldn't recommend this enough. I look forward to other friends visiting Ireland to use them as an excuse to do the Coasteering tour.

We've been on the caving and cliffdiving tour with Micheal last week. The four of us enjoyed the whole trip (even if afterwards we've been dead tired!). It was an unique experience to go into the caves. Beside the fun we also learned a lot about the caves and different formations inside, and we could even scout out a part of the cave in complete darkness. :)
We had lunch in a local restaurant, where I could try an irish speciality. After lunch we went to a insider spot at the cliffs of Moher where we could enjoy the cliffs without the lot of the other tourists. And last but not least we went swimming in the atlantic ocean where we could jump from the cliffs and swim a bit into another cave.
We had so much fun with the tour guides during the whole day. It was as if we went out as a group of friends and not with a touristic tour (I admit that that's what I expected first). Price/perfomance ration was more than fair (almost to low prices for the whole adventure if you ask me ;) )
I'll for sure never forget this day, and if ever I get to Ireland again I'll spend another day with you.

We had an awesome time doing the caving tour in the Burren and rounding the tour off with cliff jumping was just the perfect way to end an epic adventure! A big thank you to Micheál for making this an unforgettable experience

It was straight forward to organise and book with plenty helpful ideas from Micheal. We had 8 lads and the day was class, we weren't too sure what to expect from the caving but its brilliant. The diving is great craic and if you want to go high you can go real high!! Even the lunch was lovely. I'd have no issue recommending epic Ireland, 5star from start to finish.

This was one of those experiences that while challenging at times you still love and won't forget. I took 5 students who are in athletic prime and a past prime me and the Epic group showed patience and had alternatives ways to enjoy if I needed. I soldiered through and what a great team building experience it was. From the caving to the cliffs ( was too windy and cold for cliff jumping) the experience brought joy to us all. Def recommend and will return.

Can't recommend Michéal highly enough. We had as great days which started out with Michéal picking us up in Kinvara. He brought us to the heart of The Burren where we got our wet gear on and headed into a mystical forest!
This is where we found the entrance to the cave and so started our first journey of the day. Michéal knowledge of the area, it's history and geography was fantastic and made even the most nervous, first time caverns relaxed.
After our trip underunderground, Michéal brought us to Doolin for a lovely lunch and then we headed towards the Cliffs of Moher where Michéal directed us to make our way along the 8km hike across the Cliffs. We then made our way back to Doolin where the bus was waiting and brought us back to Kinvara.
Fantastic day's adventure in the West of Ireland!!!

Hello, which one of your tours is recommended for my adventure loving boys ages 14,16? Will be traveling to Ireland on Aug.
Thanks, Merav, Israel

Hi Merav,
Thank you for the enquiry,
Both tours are unique and adventourous in their own way. There is more climbing in our Connemara tour and the Caving tour is a mind blowing introduction to the magical underworld of the Burren. Either tour will not disappoint your boys.

Hi Diana,
Thank you for your interest. Our 2 main tours are Connemara/Coasteering and Cliffs of Moher/Caving.
Both tours are approx 8am to 5pm.
Coasteering is a fantastic adventure activity which will certainly get your adrenaline pumping. We also include photo stop off at Kylemore Abbey, site seeing, pub lunch and a 360' view during a mountain hike in Connemara National Park before heading home. Included in the price is also a pick up and drop off service right to the door of your accommodation in Galway.
Caving is a brilliant way to explore some of Ireland's hidden treasures, with underground waterfalls and some pretty amazing sites. This tour also includes a photo stop off in Kinvara, pub lunch in Doolin, Co. Clare, visit to the Cliffs of Moher one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions and Cliff jumping in the Atlantic (weather dependent), as well as pick up and drop off.
We hope this information helps.
