Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing experience with Wild Atlantic Way Day Tours! My mum and I took this tour after much consideration, as it is midwinter.
We are so glad we did as it was the highlight of our stay in Ireland. I had visited the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren previously by car. Travelling with Raymond, our driver guide on a small luxury coach, made such a huge difference. Raymond was a fountain of knowledge, witty and very considerate. He made our day.
He gave us the fascinating story of the history, archaeology, flora and wildlife of this unique Karst Limestone landscape which they call The Burren.
Travelling on the ocean’s edge, without having to worry about traffic, on those small narrow roads, was an absolute dream.
While the Cliffs are of course quite remarkable, the most exciting part of the day was witnessing the massive waves of the Atlantic along the coast and in particular at Doolin harbour.
It was a windy rainy day, but to stand and watch the Atlantic Ocean at its most wild and wonderful was an exhilarating experience.
The energy of the waves crashing onto the rocks making a big spray, something I could watch forever.
If you are travelling by car in Galway, just park it. Take this tour, at a cost of €30 each it was great value.
Thank you Raymond!

We spent an amazing day with John, he was humours and shared with us useful information about local life, we have also seen different hidden places not just the cliffs. The price comparing to the service is absolutely competitive especially for students, I strongly recommend Wild Atlantic Way Day tours they're professional and we had the chance to start earlier than other tours, so we had chance to take net pictures with no crowds. Thank you WAWD Tour for the trip!

My husband and I visited Ireland just after Christmas. We booked everything last summer and were thrilled to have this opportunity. I did a lot of research and found Wild Rover Tours. They had great reviews. We booked the tour that visited the Cliffs of Moher, Burren, and Galway all along the beautiful and rugged Wild Atlantic Way. All of this was great, but what made the tour so special was our tour guide, Dave Kelly. Dave provided this tour with so much life! His knowledge of history combined with colorful stories painted a picture of Ireland that we wouldn't have the privilege to participate in without him. I would encourage anyone considering a tour with Wild Rover to request Dave Kelly. You'll be glad that you did!

Great day trip from Galway to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Alan (driver) was very prompt, informative and good natured. Lunch stop at Doolin Hotel offered a broad menu of tasty and reasonably priced food and efficient service. And two hours was plenty of time at the cliffs. My only comment is to build in a comfort stop in the morning schedule and skip or cut down the stop at Dunguaire Castle in the off season. But all in all, great value for money and would highly recommend.

This was a great trip! Alan ( and Nathan!) were wonderful. It was rather a gloomy day, weather wise but Alan and Nathan brought some sunshine with their historic facts, stories , jokes and even a few tunes on the tin whistle. Great guides that we highly recommend!!

We had Alan as a tour guide and he was absolutely phenomenal. He went about and beyond to make sure that everyone on the entire bus got to do what they wanted to do when we reached the Aran Islands.
Be aware that the ferry ride can be a little rough, but the sights are worth it.

Linda and I had a fantastic adventure with WA Day Tours. Our driver, John was both an exceptional guide and storyteller, complete with Irish humor and native insights. The beautiful scenery of the Galway countryside, the Moors Cliffs and the Aran islands were priceless, And John's driving abilities is unparalleled! He drove both city street, highway, and narrow, ridiculously impossible roads for a coach to fit thru grace, confidence and patience. We will not soon forget our time together with him and the passengers. The sights, sounds, pictures, experience and memories of this all - day tour are truly a highlight of our first vacation visit to Ireland. We will do it again!! Thank you John!!!

I made an account just to write this (my girlfriend booked the tour so my apologies for not remembering the specific tour) but I have to absolutely commend our driver Cathal.

He went above and beyond and it is not an exaggeration to say he made our trip. I will be booking another trip the next time some family come to the country simply in the hope of bumping into him again. Thank you sir! Beautiful tour (we stopped at Corkscrew Hill for a photo on the way to Galway if that helps narrow it down) and the running commentary and just general attitude of our driver made it 10x better than it could have been.

Will be back. Thanks Cathal!

Alan was a fantastic driver, very approachable and genuine. He shared specific local and historical knowledge, showing much love and respect to the Aran people and Irish history.
The ferry to Inisheer was quick and the island itself very beautiful. We were not able to catch a local tour, as it sold out quickly and we did not have euros on hand. However we enjoyed the pub and views, the best of which was on the ferry going along the cliffs of Mohr.
My husband and I rented a car to travel around Ireland, but took a chance on this well reviewed tour. Although we were bound to time constraints we would 100% take this bus again.

Amazing day trip made really enjoyable by a series of stops made throughout the day. The tour guide was very friendly and shared all his personal stories about the places we travelled through.

I accidentally purchased more tickets than what I needed and the company were quick to rectify the situation and offer a refund.

A really professional company, with approachable tour guides. Without a doubt the best day I’ve had whilst away that weekend. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
