Amazing staff

Myself and a few friends went to this fantastic bar last night. We were blown away by the friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe. Chris, PJ and Saoirse, you guys are absolute legends! Thanks so much!

Well . I have to say . I just love all of the Galway Brewery Bars. This is a great bar .
Lovely meeting point . realxing. Very cool . Attractive to all kinds . Only thing i can knock it for is ...... ITS A GALWAY BREWERY BAR IN GALWAY..... NOT doing wat some of their other bars are doing in Dublin . FOOD .
Against the Grain is my favourite place to take my kids after O'Donoghue's. Or Alfie Byrnes . .
But all places are Deadly . Thanks.

Great beer house

Simple beer bar. Great service. Good music. Nice mix of tourists and locals. Great local craft beer selection. A must if in Galway.

We stopped into the Salt House on our last night in Galway. We were so disappointed that we didn't go sooner! If you're a beer nerd, this is your place and the staff couldn't possibly be more friendly.
The next time we're in Galway, this will be our first stop and they won't get rid of us until immigration kicks us out of the country.

The Place for Beer Lovers

This small bar is on the "other" side of the river in Galway, but worth the short walk. It probably has Galway's largest selection of craft beers. And it has a very friendly atmosphere. Live music on Sundays. Other days a nice playlist of rock classics.

Great pub with mix of new craft beers and traditional old favorites too, so everyone is covered. Local gin an added bonus.
Locals playing chess and checkers and live music sometimes as well. Good spot for a cab to drop off before a night in Galway City. Easy walking across the bridge to Quay Street.

Very small friendly place with the best staff and always changing plethora of tasty treats for the connoisseur. I love it best when they squeeze in the 3 piece band. A gem of a place.

The best beer selection around!

A stop at The Salt House was a welcome addition to our Guinness-riddled trek through Ireland. Our kickass bartender, Caius, was a joy to hang out with on our afternoon in Galway. We are thrilled we got to enjoy a few beers & good conversation here & would recommend it to any beer lovers passing through the area!

Lots of fun!

A hybrid between a bar and a pub, this place was perfect fir an after dinner drink. Lots of friendly locals, attentive bar staff and colourful, rustic and detailed decor. they also have a fire and ordered a cab for us which was a real plus. Will be returning!
