Booked a room at Garvey's because of its location in the center of town. You enter through the bar as the locals stare to get to a small reception area then wait for the barmaid to come check you in. The room is nothing special...More

Bar man was very rude to my friend's and I once he heard the Dublin accent and wouldn't serve us a drink and asked us to leave. I wouldn't go back even if they offered me money or free drink

Stopped here while waiting for a train to Dublin. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced Guinness, and take out food to take on the train. It worked out great and the food ( pizza and wings combo for 15 euro) was actually quite good.

While the others were shopping I wanted to find a pub with grub. Garvey’s was Perfect. Eggs, bacon toast a pint of cider. As good as it gets. A well stocked bar I recommend it highly. Friendly staff

Had a good time at Garveys, right across the street from our hotel, close to Eyre Square, friendly bartenders and staff. We enjoyed our evening there!

We had a really nice meal here for 4 people and a child. The kids menu had large portions. The seafood chowder was lovely and filling. The muscles had a cream sauce - it was okay - muscles small. Moderate pricing. Staff was great and...More

We were on foot and it was pouring rain and we were hungry. This place looked OK, so we popped inside. The special was Beef and Guinness Stew. Two of us ordered this dish, but as we could only find 2 pieces of beef, there...More
