Into the West Adventures specialises in hiking tours and holidays in the west of Ireland and beyond.The islands off our west coast, from Aran to the Inishkeas, have the most beautiful scenery in all of Ireland and are rich in history and culture. We provide trips to the mountain ranges of the west such as the Bens,Maamturks and Mweelrea ranges.We also organise treks and expeditions to Africa, including Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Just back from our second Camino trip this year with Into the West Adventures.
My wife was on the Guided Sarria to Santiago de Compostela trip with friends in Sept 2023, both of us were on the Guided Ponferrada to Sarria trip in June 2024 and we are just back from the Guided Porto to Valenca section of the Portuguese Camino in Sept 2024.
Mark Reynolds and his guides have walked these routes before, know the rest and overnight stops along the way and are well organised. From the moment you meet them at the airport you can relax because you are in safe hands. The other Guides we have met so far are John, Mick and Martin.
We have already booked the Guided Los Arcos to Burgos trip with Into the West Adventures for next May and are looking forward to meeting them, fellow Pilgrims from earlier trips, and new Pilgrims.
We have no hesitation in recommending Into the West Adventures.

Went to Inishturk with my daughter in August. We had a wonderful time and the weather was glorious.
Mark and Michael were amazing group leaders and very knowledgeable on the islands history and archaeological past, They were both friendly and happy to answer any questions.
The accommodation at Philly's bed and breakfast was very good and her cooked breakfasts were delicious and enhanced by her tasty homemade bread. The evening meals at the community centre/bar were also very good and the traditional Irish music added a lovely atmosphere to relax after the days walk on Saturday.
The islands scenery is stunning, and, both
walks were enhanced by Michael's extensive knowledge of the islands archaeological history.
The weekend was wonderful from start to finish and this was due to the leaders and our cohort of fellow walkers who were so friendly and made this such a memorable weekend. Thank you to Mark and Michael for taking care of us.
I highly recommend Into the West Tours and ll definitely will be doing more of these walks.

Just back from my second guided Camino trip (Porto to Valença) with Into the West Adventures.
Mark and Mick were our trusty guides for this route and we were definitely in safe hands. Very well organised - accommodation, routes etc. , all just great! Both guides very knowledgeable and everything was seamlessly managed from start to finish.
I can definitely recommend Into the West Adventures… just need to organise a new pair of feet for my next trip!

I have just returned back from the Sarria to Santiago Camiño in April 2024.
Our tour guide Mick was fantastic from day 1 at the airport right the way through our small group adventures . His encouragement along the way as well as all the amazing food stops is what got me through!
I will definitely be returning, my first of many Camino adventures!

Just back from the fabulous walking weekend on beautiful Inishturk . We were extremely lucky with the weather . Would highly recommend this company. Very relaxed and friendly. Mark and Michael were excellent guides, made it fun and interesting . Looking forward to our next adventure with’ into the west adventures ‘

Guides Mark and Mick complete gentlemen from start to finish, very passionate about walking,nature and with great knowledge of local culture and history, not to mention they know every good route (and restaurant 😜) on the way.
We walked through some of the most stunning scenery, the craic was mighty as was the camradory of the group, I was a single traveler but was made very welcome from the get go.
Accommodation was fab all spotlessly clean and comfortable, the food choice was wide and varied and especially fresh.
I'd have no hesitation booking through Into The West Adventure's in the future and highly recommend them, a great time was had highly enjoyable👌👌

I travelled with Mark & Eoin from Sarria to Santiago. I was a nervous solo traveler but was immediately put at ease when Eoin met us all at Dublin airport. I love how the lads look out for everyone along the way but allow each person to have their own journey in their own way. I firmly believe that a lot of people that did this same part of the journey without guides were not lucky enough to hear the local stories, share the local history and even see a storks nest. Mark is a fountain of Camino knowledge, from religious stories to where to get the best bacon & eggs 😂 Mark is so well known in these parts that everyone in his group is treated very well. We ate at some great places and slept in great accommodation with the Monks hotel being one of the highlights. Eoin was new as a guide but was so kind and respectful and helpful I’ve no doubt he will do a few more trips. I can’t recommend “Into the West Adventures” enough……wonderful trip, wonderful company 🥰 I will most definitely travel with them again!!

We had an amazing 2 night stay on Inishbofin Island , guided weekend of walking, the guides were so knowledgeable about every aspect of this beautiful island, off the coast of Galway. The hotel accommodation and food each evening was great and we met a lot of great friendly people on the tour. Would highly recommend Into the West Adentures

What an amazing experience. From my first conversation with Mark months ago, to meeting our wonderful tour guides Diarmaid and Robert at Dublin Airport, every aspect of this trip was so well managed. The group bonded so quickly and we had a wonderful time on the Camino from Sarria to Santiago. Accommodation, meals etc all excellent, and the knowledge and care of our guides made it so much easier and enjoyable. I would go again tomorrow if I could. I highly recommend Into the West Adventures, I can’t say enough good things about them.

Just back from doing Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela under the expert guidance
of Mark from Into the West Adventures. The trip was professionally organised with accommodation in good quality hotels, luggage transfers each day & restaurants of your choice
booked for evening meals. I would highly recommend Mark for anyone considering the Camino
or other trips away - you can be assured of a very high standard of care and attention to detail.
