Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum is small and is behind a clad dash ring shop. It’s free to enter. It contains some interesting (low tech) displays on rings purchased/ given to Queen Victoria and Princess Grace of Monaco. The displays trace what happened to the rings after they were received by the royals. It’ll only take you 15 minutes to duck in here, so if you have the time, an interesting few minutes.

Tiny store disguised as a museum. First area is store, small room at back is the museum - showing a few showcases of older rings as well as historical photos and celebrities buying rings,
No guide, no background, no story, no origin, no description of materials or process.
Not really deserving of title “museum”.

You get to see a lot of the past rings, even hundreds of year old gold rings, and learn about the history of this jeweler. It takes less than 10-20 minutes to see, so worth your time.

An interesting history of the Claddagh ring, how they came to be and the people of note who have visited.

The Museum proper is clean and modern. The claddagh portion was devoted to the Town of Claddagh not the ring. There was great information but I was expecting something other.

I went to find the story of the Claddagh ring after I visited the Claddagh area at the mouth of the river. The 'museum' is really a shop selling rings and they have a video on repeat that is free to watch. Its a romantic story. The rags are beautiful and there is a vast array if your interested in acting with your cash.

Great to learn new things while travelling, and this ring was thought of being important enough to preserve with a museum. Interesting story. Every culture needs these kinds of museums.

Worth a stop, but watch the hours. They closed at 5:00 when I wanted to visit on day 2 for a purchase. They missed out cause it was only like 6:00. It will take 10 minutes to really look around if interested.

A visit to the museum was enjoyable as we learned the story of how the Claddagh came into existence, and the history behind it.
