Walking along the river taking in the views was peaceful and interesting. The old bridges were picturesque which I took advantage of. From the park at the Spanish arch cross over the street to the walk behind Jury inn. Worth the walk.

We had a lovely riverside walk from the main street in Galway. We passed by The Claddagh and Nimmo Pier and sat by the river banks watching sea gulls.

This walk is picturesque, safe, and a great way to get from the Latin Quarter to the Cathedral parking area.

The riverside walk is a comfortable option to explore some of the Galway charms. One of the most interesting Galway sights.

Beautiful part of Galway. Be sure not to miss this. It is away from the shopping area so you have to do a little exploring but it really is worth it.

While in town it’s well worth a visit. Other than crossing the odd bridge, you take a step away from the roads and have a lovely flowing river beside you, and you soon forget about the city. You can make the walk as long or...More

A very pretty walk along the river from the docks to the Cathedral. We stayed in Jurys Inn which was next to the walk.
