Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a brilliant time karting this morning. The staff are very good and the place is well managed. My daughter was very nervous as it was her first time and they took the time to give her tips on what to do. Her confidence grew throughout the time we spent on the track. Delighted it was just us four on the track as would have been nervous if other drivers where on with the kids. Great to have the neck collars as well to support your neck as have not seen that in other karting venues in Ireland that we have gone to. It's hard work on the arms. Well worth it. It would be great on a rainy day also as indoors.

I booked this as an activity for a hen party and it definitely didn't disappoint.
We did the Grand Prix and it was class. Everyone really got into the spirit and it made for a great competition.
We had loads of time on the tracks and the staff were quick to the mark for anyone that got themselves stuck.
They were also very patient with us when some of our group arrived late because of some issues with taxis and the traffic.
I would definitely recommend.

Visited with 4 adult friends. We watched the safety video which outlined various rules which we were happy to abide to.
When it came to the race, we were joined by an man and his sun. Again no issue.
The kid and his dad were excellent karter's which can be respected. What was absolutely shocking was the aggressive driving by both drivers. The staff seemed to have overlooked their 'rules' for what transpired to be regular customers. I actually felt so unsafe that ended up coming into the pits and forfeiting after 7 of the 20 minute session. I recoded my friend being rammed by one of them in a dangerous overtake.
I gave the feedback to the guy on the desk leaving and his response was 'they're french'. Not entirely sure what that had to do with anything.

The track is small. Good for kids. Limited for adults. It is very hard to book because the phone is often not answered. Staff are ok but not always focused on safety. I have been a few times and they didn’t always show the preliminary DVD. Children do have fun though.

We were visiting Galway and saw an offer for go karting on groupon so got the voucher but then took me ages to get this booked and left messages which werent returned. We changed the time on the day again after a few tries before they answered but didnt seem busy. The place itself is clean and well kitted out and track is bit short but fine. The downfall is the staff who really werent interested or helpful and I had to ask them to help find a helmet to fit my son and never say hello or looked up when we left never mind say thank you. Not a great attitude to have when running a business in a recession.

So we arrived excited and ready to race and we were greeted with an employee that was more interested in his friend and his sporting adventures than us, paying customers. We went upstairs to a freezing room to watch a safety video that told us that we must wear safety equipment at all times. Some of which was not provided (gloves, jacket). When we got out we were left until another staff member came upstairs about ten mins later. (Still waiting in the freezing cold). We eventually got into the karts and did our rounds when my boyfriend realised his tyre was flat and he couldn't steer properly (I assumed this was an excuse...it wasn't) when he drove to the side and tried to explain the situation, he was told to drive on... he couldn't and then the instructor eventually gave him a new kart... he got about two laps in the new kart and we were flagged off to leave. I personally think this was unfair and poor on the businesses behalf. This is very unsatisfactory and we left with no intention of returning due to the poor service we received. As you can see from the picture his best laps were with the new kart. Not somewhere I would recommend

Paid for grand prix. Advertised is practice session, 3 heats, semi finals and a grand final. We didn't get a practice session, apparently they don't do that even though on the website and literally on their wall it states they do.... I mean it's part of what you're paying for but at no point prior and including being there we were not told this.
The tracking system failed in the first set of semifinals(where the group is split into 2 halves), no times or positions were recorded, so they re ran and again it failed to record anything.
So then they with 0 apology or apathy and full of defensive unhelpfulness they completely cancelled the semi final for the other half of the guys who had patiently waited for their turn. I suggested running it regardless of time recording we could use our eyes to record who finished where etc... This was met with stonewalled confusion at the concept... The half of the guys who didn't get semi final were promised extra track time after the final. We Ran the final with meaningless positions. Then the extra track time wasn't delivered as they rushed the next group on. When I queried why we didn't get the extra time, the response was an unapologetic "it's because you didn't demand it straight after the final".... Didn't demand the thing we paid for? No apology for any of the problems lack of track time, lack of time recording.
Just defensive belligerence.
Also at least 1 kart broke down during each race but that's just the icing on the cake.
I just want reiterate at no point was an apology for their failing systems given or any remorse at all, very much felt like somehow we were at fault for asking to do what we had paid for.....
The track is also tiny, but I wouldn't review them down for that, it is what it is.
